A SAFER J.JILL IN-STORE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

From the start of this challenging time, your safety, as well as the safety of our associates, has always been our priority—and that’s not going to change. We want to acknowledge that we’re all adjusting to a new normal.

Here are the safer shopping practices we’ve put into place:

Cleaning and Sanitizing Icon

SANITIZING

All of our stores have been professionally sanitized prior to reopening. Associates are cleaning common hard surfaces with increased frequency. This includes our cashwrap area, concierge, fitting rooms and lounge areas.

Hand sanitizer will always be visible and available.

LIMITED-CONTACT
SHOPPING

Associates are wearing masks and we encourage you to do the same while shopping with us. They’re limiting how much they handle merchandise before it’s wrapped up for you. From unpacking and steaming to setting the floor and helping you select new styles, we’re working with an abundance of caution.

We’re limiting the number of customers who can shop in our stores at one time. Floors are marked with 6-foot guides at our cashwrap as a visual reminder of safer-space distancing.

EXTENDED RETURNS

Whether you’ve shopped with us in-store, online or through our catalog, we’re extending our return and exchange window to help accommodate our temporary store closures due to COVID-19. We'll accept all returns and exchanges for purchases made in 2020 for 60 days from your local store's reopening or 90 days from your original purchase date. Please allow additional time for your return or exchange to be processed.

SHOPPING BAGS

We’ll follow your local government’s direction on whether to continue to provide our recyclable kraft paper shoppers, or allow you to use your own reusable tote. Also, please know our associates will not be able to hold your personal belongings and shopping bags while you’re in our store.

FITTING ROOM
MODIFICATIONS

Associates will guide you to open rooms by appointment to limit the number of customers inside this area. This new practice allows associates the opportunity to properly clean and sanitize each room between customers.
