Using both nature and technology to our advantage, we design every style while keeping in mind how it will look, feel and function when you’re wearing it. In this feature, we share “why we chose it” and “how it’s done” because there’s always a story behind the style.

Pure Jill

Sand-Washed Collection

Our Pure Jill Collection is all about luxurious fabrics and easy shapes, and our new sand-washed fabric takes that to another level. Made from a special modal rayon blend, it’s gently buffed for a smooth finish and a uniquely soft, brushed feel– once you touch it, you’ll love it. Our four new sand-washed styles are soft, with a gentle, fluid drape. Once you put them on, you’ll want to live in them all season long.

Simply Supima®

Introducing our Simply Supima® fabric, made from American-grown 100% Supima® cotton, the world’s finest extra-long-staple cotton. Its special interlocking knit gives these styles a more substantial look and feel with a smooth, luxurious finish and a beautiful drape. We’ve used it to create a tee and tunic you’ll love to add to your collection of comfortable, soft clothes.

Plaiting

Plaiting is a special knitting technique that combines yarns of two different colors so there’s one shade on the style’s surface and another inside for an interesting bit of contrast. We’ve used cotton-rich yarns to create a wonderfully soft fabric with a weight that makes our cardi and tunic sweater perfect for changing seasons.
