Make a Difference Day: The J.Jill Compassion Fund

Make a Difference Day has been one of the most impactful days of community service for more than 20 years. Now this day is largely celebrated on social media with organizations large and small sharing how they’re making a difference in the lives of others and inviting you to join them.

As a company, J.Jill believes in supporting our community all year round—and we do this with your help. Every time you choose to purchase an exclusive Compassion Fund style, you’re buying more than just a scarf or a necklace. You’re helping to buy a week’s worth of groceries for a family in need, three days of safe housing or interview training for a woman going back to work. You’re helping to provide a bus pass, diapers, a professional haircut or court advocacy. Since it was established in 2002, our Compassion Fund has donated more than $18 million in grants and in-kind donations to support and empower women to establish a better life for themselves and their families.

We’re proud that 100% of the net proceeds from our Compassion Fund products support and empower women in our communities every day, all year long.
