Close fitting, right length, great pockets

After looking at the picture of these leggings online, I was afraid they would be too short. On the model they hit at the ankle, but on me they are much longer, actually considerably past the ankle, which is what I prefer. I am 5’4”, 130 poundsz They are tight, which is good for working out, but it makes them less warm. Again, for those who wear them at the gym, that is desirable. I wanted them for an exercise class that is held in a cold room, and they are not really warm enough there, but other locations would be fine. The fact that they have pockets was a huge selling point for me since I don’t carry a purse to the gym but still have a phone and some other things with me.

Not a great waistband

I like the pockets on these leggings, a feature that is not easy to find. However, the fabric is not as substantial as I'm used to in my other leggings, and I don't like the waistband. Typically, the entire waistband is wide and supportive. These have a strip of elastic at the top that is a bit tight and doesn't seem as if over time it will remain functional.

I love these leggings! I have several pairs. These are my go to leggings for my gym days. Well made and last a very long time. I am 5'8 and wear a XL these leggings are very comfortable. The fit is perfect and comfortable. The lenght fits me vert well. I will definitely buy again.

I bought a medium in these pants but ordered a large because I thought the large would give me more length. I love the style and color but do not like the short length. I would rather have the length below my ankles rather than above my ankles.

High Rice Leggings

I bought a pair of these a few months ago...loved them. Decided to buy a couple more pair to take on our trip to Europe...leaving in two days. Ordered these in July. They arrived today, September. They are nothing like the first pair. The picture is not accurate...they are baggy and the back of them is different then the original pair...which the picture does not show. So disappointed. They'll be going back.

In my expensive quest over the years to find a non-pilling, smooth, long enough, legging this is it. I appreciate the comfort waste band (since I have a bit of fluff around the middle) The waste band stays in place, doesn't roll down and my shirts don't bunch up over the waste. My only complaint is that I did not buy several pair in Tall. Please, please bring these back soon!

Bought these because they were on sale and I needed a full-length pair. I usually go for sale athletic clothing at discount stores but I am so happy I bought these! No itchy stitching! No sagging or bagging! And they don't pull down when I walk and bend! Great flexibility and quality fabric. Keep their shape after repeated (delicate) washings. Will certainly purchase more pairs.

I've wanted to purchase more Fit performance high-rise leggings for a couple of years but didn't like the zippered pocket along the back waistband. I saw my chance when this year's version didn't have the zippered pocket along the back waistband. However, the fabric is thinner and not as warm as the former Fit leggings, and the pockets alongside the leg are positioned much lower so that the bulge created from items stashed in the pocket shows below the hem of a tunic. I am disappointed they didn't work for me and returned them.

Really love these for workouts! The high waist is flattering and pulls you in. The legs have enough spandex to feel supportive without being too tight. There is a pocket on each side that’s large enough to hold an iPhone 13 Pro, which is fantastic considering most women’s workout clothes have tiny pockets. The key to motivating me to workout is wearing a great outfit so I feel confident and these leggings do that perfectly!

Very happy with the fit and fabric. Pockets are deep enough to completely cover a cellphone. I am 5’ 120 lbs and the petite medium is a perfect fit. I ordered 2 more.

These are gorgeous! The black textured paisley is a lovely pattern and has subtle touches of blue and red. The material is wonderfully soft, the fit is fabulous and these are so comfy, I bought two pairs! And thank you, JJill, for offering Tall sizes for those of us with long legs. More of these leggings in more patterns/colors, please!

Over the years that J.Jill has had these Fit leggings, I have purchased over 14 pairs. I have loved them and wear them almost every day. Recently it appeared that they were not available…then pow, they were back in stock with a new color design. I bought both the new print design and another black pair (I believe you can never have too many black pants) in the XLT as I always have. I was so disappointed, the “cut” has been changed. They don’t fit as snug, the tall size is not as long and the pocket is bigger. I returned both pairs. I don’t know if they have made them a bit larger and if I ordered a size smaller it would fit me better…it’s a little harder since I need a tall size and that I have to order online. I will be thinking about doing that.

I bought these leggings in a large tall. I'm 5'10'' with long legs, and the hem of these is just above the ankle. In the picture, the fabric appears to be black and white, but it actually contains a good bit of royal blue and reddish-pink and is really pretty.

What happened to the fabric and quality?

I used to adore and love your "Hight-Rise Leggings!" I would buy them every chance I had. Whenever you came out with a new pair, I waited for them and scooped up another pair. I could never have enough. Not know. What happened to the fabric and quality? They are nearly transparent. I just purchased three pairs. If I had not removed the tags from two of them, I would have returned all three. I am returning one pair. Extremely disappointed.

Finally--petite workout wear!

It's really hard to find athletic wear clothing in petite sizes so I decided to give these a chance. Not only are they lovely, but they are comfortable and flattering. They're almost too nice to wear for work outs! I found them to be true to J Jill sizing, but compared with other athleisure brands they probably run a bit large.

I’ve purchased many of the Fit Performance leggings in the past, and love them all. These just arrived and I’m disappointed. The fabric is VERY thin, almost transparent when they are worn. I purchased size S, my regular size. They fit, but honestly I would only wear these out when covered with a long top, jacket or tunic. I knew immediately when I took them out of the package that the fabric was not the same quality as those I have bought in the past. And, the fabric also does not have the same “support” as previous ones.
