I had high hopes for this dress. However, the cotton fabric feels cheap and limp, as does the lining. I imagined that it was a nice crisp, tightly-woven poplin, but it is a loosely-woven, low-quality fabric, with no body. The green pattern is darker than I thought; the colors are black, dark green, and mint green, not as pretty as I thought it would be. The fit was not flattering on me. I have a belly, and this empire waist with gathers and lots of extra fabric below the waist emphasized my belly. The length runs shorter than the other JJ dresses that I ordered, but even in the Tall it seemed too short for this style, which probably should be midi length. It fits TTS in the bust, but is very large below the waist, as this is the style.
