SCORE! I ordered 2 dresses & am keeping both ~ no return shipping charge ~ YAY! This woven cotton fabric dress in Reg XL hits at mid ankle on me. I am 5’4” tall, 40D-DD, a bit pear shaped curvy with hips a bit wider than bust, waist 11.5” smaller than hips🥴. There’s no gap at the armpit and shoulder “straps” are snug & comfortable. My regular bra is completely covered including straps. I do not have a big stomach so I can’t speak to that. The skirt falls smoothly covering my bum tho (bulk there on me). Depending on the garment design, in JJill, I go between Regular and Petite sizing. I got this in Regular because I wanted the horizontal waist to stay put at my waist & not ride up like it appears to be doing a bit on the model. It fits just as I hoped. The cotton lining is very close to being the same length as the dress so if you want to hem it, you’ll be hemming both. I’ll be wearing this with different linen & cotton jackets & sweaters. I got this dress for $72 ~ great value! I hope this review helps.

I ordered this dress for a cruise. Unfortunately it did not look good on me. I do not recommend this style for anyone with a full bust, as the smocking does not look good, it hugs your bust. It is a beautiful dress and I was disappointed, maybe if I ordered a size larger it may have worked!
