This is the third or fourth pair I have of these pants They are the best fit ever! I have gained a little weight so I sized up and they fit perfectly. So great to wear with a tunic. I just love these pants!

Bring back old slim leg jeans

I agree with other reviews that preferred the old style. The higher waist slim legs were my go-to for years, and I miss them. The addition of pockets is great but I think would work even better on a higher waist. Could you at least bring back the higher waist as another choice? I think you would make many loyal customers happy. The old ones were definitely a 5! Thank you.

FRONT POCKETS!

Thank heavens JJill has added some front pockets to a pair of jeans.(Women have been yelling about pockets on ANY jeans for years now.!) Big enough to hold my phone, small enough that the phone doesn't drop out when sitting. I bought a size Tall14 and the waist is a bit big for me but I can live with that. The legs are slim, NOT skinny, which is just what I wanted. I ordered 3 more pairs after wearing the first pair just once. I mean POCKETS!

So I got the small but have medium in the way. I think I’m going to size up and keep medium. I am not sure if these should fit like jeggings but I think I will like them more if not so snug. They feel fantastic. I look forward to wearing them a lot.

Good but no home run

I read many reviews before ordering these pants. I went ahead and ordered hoping they'd fix the pocket issue. I like the fabric, waistband is okay, fit is good, it's the gaping pockets that are disappointing. I wear my tops untucked so can tolerate pocket issue. Probably won't order more but will keep what I ordered this time.

I have been wearing Indigo Knit Jeans for years, and they are my favorite pant. The addition of the pockets are perfect, and the slightly slimmer leg are my favorite. I am a 12 and the medium is plenty roomy.

I LOVE these jeans! They’re a perfect fit and so comfortable! My favorite thing is pockets!! I love having a place to put change or keys or even a tissue if I’m not carrying my purse and I can be hands free. These jeans have a great look and can easily become “casual dressy”! JJILL is my favorite store. Just wish you had a store at the outlet mall in Tilton (hint hint).

Have no idea why these are getting negative reviews. I love the pockets and they don’t gape on me. Love the slim leg too. I’m 5’7 and the regular is just right on me. Will be getting rid of previous years model without pockets and buying more of these

Ruined a perfect pair of jeans

The previous version of these pants was perfect. They now have a huge sewn on waistband and pockets that poof out. The others had a waistband that was part of the pants and smaller pockets, which means they don't look as nice and are not as comfortable. I am in the same boat as many other reviewers in that my jeans that I loved are now worn out and there is no replacement for them.

I purchased these 3 or 4 years ago and love them, but they’re a bit worn so needed to replace. The new pair included pockets which I can live with but they are huge! Same size, same item but considerably larger than before. I’m noticing this with a lot of your products. The XSP item are all bigger than before. Why? Petite isn’t just height, it’s also weight. It’s getting to the point I can’t buy your products anymore because they are not true to size and I don’t want to wear baggy clothes. The pants will be returned.

bring back the old styles

These fit me like the old stovepipe pants of the 80s and I am an LT in everything here but this huge wide waistband comes up to my bra, certainly not below my waist, so I would need to go two sizes down to get the right fit and that won't fit at all. So basically bring back the old style of these and the bootcut style (even though the waist was too high on those also ) because I lived in those and the ones I have left are getting really worn out.

Silly me, I thought I could get another pair like the 2 I purchased about two years ago, which fit perfectly. I got the same SP and the waist was 3 inches bigger. I can see maybe an inch, but 3? The legs were looser as well. I had recently had an issue with another pair of pants that had a large difference in the waist from one size to another. So I’m not going to bother exchanging since it seems there’s no guarantee it would fit. I’m a long time customer who has increasingly gone elsewhere to shop. Oh, also the material isn’t as nice as my older pairs.

Love the length, but not the smell

Thank you for offering pants in tall. I am 5'10" and your large tall size is perfect for me. However, these pants put off a very strong chemical odor. I washed them once, still smelled. washed again with vinegar and hung outside for a full day, better, but still some lingering odor.
I do like having pockets, so handy for treats when walking the dog.

These jeans are soft & comfortable. I am 5'1" & weigh 113 lbs. Purchased the XS Petite. At first I thought the waist was a little tight, but it stretched out with wear. The pockets stick out a bit. Upon receiving, there was an odor to the fabric. I washed & it came out. I am happy with the jeans.
