Best Version of the Elliptical Tee

These are my favorite T-shirts of all time! I love the shape, length, and many beautiful patterns. Unfortunately, it looks like J-Jill has decided to change the style this year, now making them with a deep scoop neck and side slits. I'm so disappointed and hope this version makes a comeback. So, if this style is in your size, snatch up whatever is left!

I buy these every year. I love the length and the flare at the bottom. I like the more substantial cotton of recent years but I prefer more of a scoop neck (more flattering) of the earlier years. Also please make more solid colors - would love Navy blue. I find the prints (typically calico like floral) to be kind of frumpy. Would like to see more contemporary prints/patterns - maybe micro stripes or micro geometric pattern.

Elliptical shirts are wonderful for mature women with I little more weight in the middle. I have several but this one's colors are warm and dark at the same time. It's my favorite. Fit is true. They wash well.

These tees are the backbone of my wardrobe. I wear a tall size and they are long enough to cover the rear view and are not tight and restricting. I wear them all year long. PLEASE never stop making them. I own about two dozen of them in various colors. I just wash and hang to dry and they are ready to go.

This is my favorite JJill tee. I buy them whenever I can catch a sale and sometimes when I just want another, even at full price . It's swingy enough to cover a multitude of body dismophs, in my case spare tire and unsightly bum. I wash, shake, and hang dry, thought it comes out of the dryer beautifully, too. Great for year round wear. Just add a sweater for winter days.

I have bought this silhouette from jJill before and I love them. This particular top is a soft fairly thin cotton. I live in Florida and it is perfect for our climate. A couple of years ago jJill offered a heavier weight cotton which I also love. They wash and dry beautifully. Hope to see a heavier weight one as the fall season progresses

The Pure Jill Scoop Neck Elliptical Tee is a lovely combination of blues and greens on a white background. The fit is perfect through the neck, shoulders, and tummy. I bought the PXL, my usual size, and it fits very well. It is a bit long in the back, and a tad bit roomy in the tummy area, but it's ok as a casual shirt. What interested me about this shirt is the color combination. The fit is acceptable, so I will keep it. The neckline is lower than a crew neck and higher than a scoop neckline; I would call it a jewel neckline. It is not too revealing and not too high.

I bought this Tee in the blue in a Large - while it fits fine, it is a little bit large. So, when I saw the dark raspberry color, bought it in a Medium and I like this fit better.
The length on both sizes is a bit longer , which I like.

Develop Little Holes Very Quickly

I’ve bought many of these elliptical shirts and every one develops little holes in the stomach area after only a few times of wearing, i assume from a seatbelt. I can’t not wear a seatbelt and it always happens so i’ve stoped buying this shirt. All my other JJill tees are fine, don’t do this. Eventually some do, like the Pima tees, which is really frustrating.

Pre Jill never disappoints with style and sizing for me. They are my go to tops for everyday. They are ligjt and pretty in our very hot summer in Dallas! Way more comfortable than t-shirts. I am applenshape, 5 ft 5, 200 lb and comfortable in XL I recommend this top with shorts or crop pants.

I had previously bought two of these tops in white and blue and they have become my favorite go-to casual tops. However, the two printed tops I recently purchased run small. Both are tight in the chest (I am small chested) and I am constantly pulling them out of my arm pits. Definitely need to size up for this one.

I love the cut of the elliptical tees; and the paisley ikat print is cheerful & perfect for summer. I just wish that a neck would have been an option. It would be great if J.Jill could make this tee available with a choice of v-neck or scoop neck.
