I bought two pairs recently and have worn each once. They are so long that I had to fold them up into a cuff to wear. I wear size SP and the inseam (I measured) is 29 3/4 inches. Much too long for a size SP!! I will have to pay to have them hemmed. Not happy about that, but I needed lightweight summer pants. J Jill should offer free alterations when the sizing….length in this case…is so very off. I have also purchased cotton essential pants and indigo jeans and they did not need hemming as their lengths were 25 inches and 27.5 inches. Disappointed to have to pay to have the affinity slim leg pants hemmed when I ordered petite!

Perhaps that isn’t your number one concern, but when a pair of pants is comfortable around my waist then it makes me happy. These pants hold up to being worn all day long without bagging at the knees. I often have my son’s large Labrador retriever who keeps me moving. The pants do well. Thinking about purchasing them in other colors now.

I just recently returned these....I ordered a misses' small and they were way too long and the waist way too large. The pockets stuck out like big ears on my hips. Why did they give these pants pockets? They're the worst. They don't lay flat and are forever bunching up. The sizes are so unpredictable. J.Jill's quality has really gone down and the prices have increased. I never know what to expect when I order something.

I have worn this style for years. They’re comfortable, fit well and are perfect for .most occasions. Love this new blue shade! The wide waistband and the pockets are also improvements I really appreciate over past versions that lacked them. Keep this style going and add more colors please!

I had surgery 2 years ago and lost my bladder. I now have an Ostomy bag which is basically at my waist. I am unable to wear any pants that have a closure at the waist. A friend recommended your Pure Jill Affinity slim-leg pants and I can’t tell you how grateful I am to her and to you for creating such wonderful pants. I bought them in every color you have. They look great on and wash great too. PS I took a pair to an Ostomy Meeting and shared them with the other ladies in the group.

Too long for me. I would have to hem at least 4 inches to wear these.

I bought these pants a few weeks ago. They are of poor quality fabric and look "cheap".

Although these pants were a lovely color and fabric, the length was incredibly long for a regular small. I have never had this problem with a JJill pant before. I am 5’3” 140lbs. The all over fit of the pants was great but I didn’t want to invest the cost of having them hemmed properly. I returned them. I wondered if they were mislabeled and should’ve been Tall sized

The small petite fits well and feels good on me, this material is very comfortable. The petite medium was too big. However, it seems to be a little too fitted in the nether regions. I got the mink and it looks good with the mink sweatshirt A-line tunic. But with my shorter mink multi kimono top, it kind of gathers in the crotch and rear. It's a nice color and it feels so good on, not tight feeling at all but I'm afraid some areas need to be covered with these pants so it limits me to only being able to wear tunics with it Maybe that is what they are supposed to worn with anyway. I don't know because this is my first pair and according to other reviews, this pant seems to be popular. I'm actually still debating on whether to keep it because of the limiting to tunics with the fit. They seem to be made very well.

I don't know what I would do without J.Jill slim leg knit pants. Since gaining weight, these are the only pants I get wear. For reference purposes I am just under 5'3" and weigh 189 lbs. The problem area is my stomach. I only wish the pants did not have pockets. Who needs the extra bulk?

I have these in black, navy, and blue. Super comfortable. Long, not ankle length, which is great for me at 5'9". Bought my usual J Jill size, which fits fine.

The pants are nice and soft and warm. Unfortunately a lot longer than my legs, so I am having it shortened. I think it will be great when the cold days come.

These were a mistake. Though I am 5'6", I have short legs, so I buy petite length pants. Even these petite pants are too long. I can and do hem my own pants when I need to, but these are a heavier knit and I have no way to hem them without ending up with a bulky hem at the bottom. Because these are a heavy knit, they can only be worn in the winter months.

These are not slim leg pants! A little loose prewash. After washing , became looser and wider!

I bought these and they fit so well I ordered another pair in my size. The reason they are so comfortable is due to the amount of cotton in the fabric. Much more in the light blue faded jeans than in the darker colors. I prefer the lighter color in the summer. They look good if you’re on a boat or go to a picnic but want to cover up a little more.

I've happily worn Pure Jill slim leg knit pants for many years. I must admit that I prefer the previous fold-over waist for its simplicity and smoothness. While the current two-pocket style seems practical, I don't care for the added bulk on the sides. I would prefer a small front patch pocket near the top for small items like a key or kleenex. Still my favorites.

I have three of the older pocket-less style and love them for travel. These are the same quality and the pockets lay fairly flat (I don't like them, frankly). They run very, very large. I usually wear an 8 or 10, so a medium. I ordered a medium as usual and I am swimming in them. Rather than returning, I washed and dried on hot. They shrank a little, so I will keep them for fat days and/or long flights. Order accordingly.

It's so hard to find women's pants with pockets to hold a cell phone. Thanks for these. I got a pair of large, and they are a bit too big, so I've ordered two more in a medium. Please make more pants with phone pockets - no one carries just a credit card anymore, because it's all on the phone. So at least one phone pocket is welcomed.

This is the second pair I’ve purchased. Love everything about them. The fit is amazing… I have really long legs and the medium tall fit perfectly. I prefer a slim cut in dress pants. There is nothing about them that I didn’t like.

I love the old flat no pocket style. Please bring back the old pocketless style.

Slim fitting. Roomy pockets so perfect for golf. Great length. (I’m 5’10”).

I love these pants! Have 2 black pairs and two navy pairs. The pockets are wonderful! Roomy and sit close to my hips. Yet, plenty of room for keys and a phone.

When I washed these they came out a wrinkled mess! I washed in cold, gentle and dried on cool. They did not iron well. I wish I could return them.

I was looking for a lighter weight black pants to wear in the summer. Temps here can reach 110! These are a great weight and they look very nice on. I am get more pairs.
