Rated 5 out of 5 by Great necklace! I bought this as a birthday gift for my 19-year-old niece. Wish I had gotten one for myself -- it has the perfect amount of "edgy-ness." My 15-year-old likes it, too! March 7, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Broadcasting v Suggesting The heart, the star, the long branch and the circle. With this relatively inexpensive line of jewelry, Pure Jill has done a marvelous job of resurrecting a long tradition of investing natural objects with spiritual meaning. The power of the line is that the objects are specific but still open-ended enough to support a range of meanings, especially personal meanings. The casual viewer can't help but notice the necklace--it is a pendant, after all--but the wearer isn't broadcasting her belief system. These symbols have the best of both worlds: they radiate significance but still retain hidden depths--if not of meaning, then of mystery. And isn't that what a symbol should do? January 25, 2013
