After reading several reviews saying the skirt was a bit long, I ordered a petite. I'm 5'4". This length is spot on. I find this a perfect long black skirt that will be great at a wedding by adding a fancy top or wearing with a long belted linen blouse for a more casual look. It is multi-seasonal as well.

I ordered this skirt on line and ended up returning it. I got it in my usual size (xl) and the waist was HUGE. It had no shape on my body and was rather unflattering. It may look good on a slim-waisted person (not me!)

It is perfect. I did order a petite even though I am 5'6" because skirts tend to be for taller women. The petite was just right.

This skirt hangs really well. It is graceful and perfect for dressing up. Unfortunately, even the petite is very long (I am 5" 2") so it is easy to step on the hem when changing positions or standing up. Otherwise, a great skirt.

This skirt is made of beautiful fabric that drapes well over the hips. Can be worn for evening, with a structured jacket for more business look, or casual. Great for travel as it does not wrinkle.

I originally ordered the extra large petite. I typically order that size. I have lost a little weight, but I still thought this size would be appropriate. Fortunately, after trying on the skirt, I immediately sent it back for exchange. It seems to run a "tad bit" large! I ordered down a size and you might want to do the same. I have not worn this skirt as of yet, but it seems like it would be a great multi-functional skirt. It looks like you can dress it up or dress it down. I am glad I exchanged the sizes though. Now, the price is even better than I first ordered it. I almost wish I had waited, but you can never guarantee that it will be available when it is a popular item.
