Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous high-quality dress I was not expecting this dress to be so beautiful, so it was a pleasant surprise when it arrived. The silk charmeuse is soft and flowy and feels so lovely against the skin. I originally purchased the dress in a size XS (my normal size in JJill) but it was too small across the back/shoulders. I exchanged it for a size Small which fits just right. I do belt this dress at my waist with a wide belt to accentuate my shape, otherwise it does look shapeless on my 5'2" frame. It is well-made and has held up to several wearings very well. Highly recommended! May 17, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Too loose shirt dress This dress runs large. It arrived really wrinkled and the fabric looked high maintenance. Returned it. March 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely silk dress! Nice drape. I am normally a petite size medium, however, the misses medium is a perfect length for me in this dress. Looks as though most of the sizes are gone by now, which is too bad because it's such a great deal it'd be nice if more women could take advantage of the savings. My husband loved it on me (I did put a little skinny dark silver-grey leather belt with a tiny silver buckle with it to add some shape). The color black in this dress was not as deep a black as I'd hoped for - looked almost like it had been washed and dried quite a few times. Hopefully, it's just the way silk charmeuse in black is supposed to look. For me, the black silk dress is just what I needed for a very subdued, yet dressy occasion. Very classy! March 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great drape I could not be happier with this dress - very pretty and feminine fit with a lovely drape. The weight of the fabric was substantial -- not at all flimsy as I expected based on earlier reviews. Cuffs have nice gathered detailing and a pretty shell button. I'm so pleased I'll order a second one in red. Thank you, J.Jill for another modern, lovely garment. I will have to look into an anti-static spray, but will happily carry a small can with me. I'm 5'6", slender build (a runner), and I feel this dress improves my figure by providing just enough feminine drape and curve. March 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely color and fabric. I am short and a senior so not a fan of short dresses. I bought this on sale thinking I'd shorten it and wear it as a tunic over pants but I like it as it is. It drapes well but can be worn with a belt. The split neck is very pretty and doesn't flop over, the color is lovely and the fabric is a good weight of silk charmeuse. You won't be disappointed. February 7, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ahhh Silk! I am not generally a fan of silk dresses, but the price and style of this one was difficult to turn down! It's a bit difficult to get on/off, as we all know silk doesn't have much "give"...and the fit is not as curvy as I would have liked (I'm VERY curvy) but it still fits well, and with a slip is a wonderful addition to my wardrobe. Rated 5 out of 5 by cut small I am slim and always wear SP, but this dress is cut too small. I could not comfortably move my arms so I returned it. It is a beautiful dress, one that can be easily dressed up or dressed down with the appropriate shoes and accessories. Unfortunately, the fit was not quite right. February 1, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very pretty, but poor fitting sleeves I loved the color of this dress, and the length was perfect. However, I found that the sleeves were much to narrow through the upper arm and caused the fabric to pull at the armholes. I was afraid it would tear the seam, so I returned the product. I am not overweight, I'd call myself average (5'3", 140 lbs, 36-27-37), so there really is no excuse for this not to fit perfectly. February 1, 2013
