The dress was too big. I always order a size or more larger that what I normally think I should purchase. This dress was really a tent on me. When I order from other catalogs, Large never has long enough sleeves (I have long arms), so I always buy larger to accommodate for my long arms. This dress is way too big. Hopefully it will shrink with washings; however, the arm length was correct. I really hate when my sleeves are not long enough.

I bought this dress in a Large based on other reviews that said that it runs small, especially across the back. And that is the case: the dress does fit across the shoulders, but that is about the only place. It is quite large everywhere else (could use some darts or seaming), and it is too long. Even the sleeves are too long, and I have long arms! I would have bought a petite (I'm 5'4") to get a shorter length, but I think a petite would definitely have been too small in the shoulders. But I like the fabric, so I will probably keep the dress and tailor it "to taste".

Enjoyed this dress over the holidays. Very comfortable. Sleeves run long to my taste and will have them hemmed, but otherwise seems to be true to size. Can dress up or down.

I'm usually delighted with my JJill purchases, however, this time I made a mistake. The dress, which I wanted for a Christmas party and a winter wedding, didn't fit. It was too tight, as another reviewer had suggested. Even if it had fit I don't think the style was to my liking. Perhaps the dress just needs a different body. I took a risk ordering the dress online . . . and now I'm returning it.

I bought this dress to wear to our office Christmas Party and to a wedding we have coming up the first part of January. I was very pleased when I put it on. It fit nicely and true to size. As the pictures show, it looks great with either my black boots, my velvet flats or heels.

I love the look of the dress and I order my normal size. The dress was so tight in the arms and shoulders I couldn't move in it. I'll have to return this dress. Very disappointed.

This dress was perfect for a couple special events I had to attend. Fits nicely and with nice drap, the lining helps. I did have trouble zipping it up myself. I opened the front and pulled the zipper down just far enough to pull it over my head.
