I waited a long time for this shirt to go on sale. Now that I have it it's been too hot to wear it. The weight of the fabric is not heavy but it's not flimsey.
Buttoned up the shirt is form fitting but not tight or even snug. It looks great worn open with a tank or long sleeve t-shirt underneath too.

I noticed some of the other reviewers said this shirt runs large. I purchased my normal size, L and it fit really well. It goes with jeans, leggings and regular pants. It's a keeper!!

unflattering and overpriced for what it is... very boxy... I tried washing it in hot water to shrink it up a bit ... to no avail.... after reading the reviews I ordered a size smaller but, even that was huge and far from a feminine.
save your money... I've like other j. jill products just, not this one...

I've tried a lot of JJ pieces and generally if I don't care for it, it's due to being too 'big'.
This shirt is so small, I was stunned.
I normally wear a 3x from JJ and the fit is generous. I ordered this in 4x as it is a woven cotten and I expected it to shrink in washing and drying.
When it arrived, I tried it on and it didn't even come close to closing over the bust. The arms were short, and across the back it was tight. This garment should have been marked a smallish 2x.
This will be a great 'outlet' piece for smaller plus sizes if it is noted that it runs very small.

I went in store and tried this one due to other product ratings on web site. Customers stated this item had a different fit than most J Jill shirts. I normally wear a Large in J Jill but on this shirt I purchased an XL. The large shirt fit with the exception of the sleeves as they were very slender and fit tight from shoulder to wrist. the XL sleeves fit great but then the shirt was too large/bulky. I purchased anyway as i will be wearing for casual and feel it will work for me. comfy.

When I tried this shirt on I knew immediately I had to buy it. Normally I don't like button shirts because they gap in the wrong places. This shirt didn't do this. I got a 14 in this and it was a perfect fit. It looks great with just anything. You can't go wrong if you buy this shirt

The longer length makes it so versatile . I have worn this top with leggings and plan to wear it with slacks and skirts. LOVE IT
