Skirt is comfortable and soft. It will be great this spring and summer with sandals.

I really wanted to like this basic skirt, but unlike the other reviewers, I found the skirt ran small...not large. I could only see it running large if you have no hips. The waist was fine, but through the hip area it was very straight and small. I'm curvy with an average build. Also, it was shorter on than in the picture, maybe cause I'm tall. I'm sending it back and hopefully the next size up will fit. I usually have no problem with J Jill skirts... this one... I don't know...

Very cute skirt. Material is super soft . Seems like this will be a summer staple in my wardrobe. The construction is nice.

Love this skirt, goes with anything. Like a dressy jean skirt. Should have bought a small due to elastic back (I am a 12), so it does droop a bit. Washes well, I hung to dry and touched up with cool iron.

I haven't worn this little basic skirt yet...waiting for warmer weather. Plan on wearing it with the simple 120 vest in navy. I'll be able to wear it a lot. The fit is okay but the elastic waist is rather loose so it falls lower on my waist which is ok - just hope it doesn't loose all it's elasticity after washing.

I am not surprised that this skirt was on sale; I find it hard to imagine what kind of person it might fit. It has elastic in the back but was clearly designed to sit so low that one might blush to wear it, since if one lowers it to the hem height shown in the pictures that's where it sits. It is, in short, completely straight (that's what is meant by "straight silhouette", but then that confusing word "waistband" was used in the description too)--yet another evidence that JJill has moved to serving people who have no waists. But then nobody will return it because it doesn't fit at the waist, will they?
