Love J Jill and tencel, but after I washed these pants, the fit seemed to change entirely. Sorry, but I am disappointed!

I have to agree with some of the other reviews. They do not look like the photo. The waist sticks out and down into a "V" above the zipper. They are quite baggy--I can take them on and off without unzipping or unsnapping them, and actually wear a pair of light weight sweat pants under them. They are good for wearing around the house with a long top so the baggy rear and droopy front don't show. On the plus side, they are quite comfortable. I do like the elastic in the back, the fabric, the way the legs hang straight. I got them on sale, but if I'd paid full price I would have returned them.

I read the other reviews before ordering, which were sort of negative, but ordered these pants anyway. I LOVE them. They are so comfortable and lightweight I want to wear them everyday. I am not a fan of elastic waists, but on these pants it is not obvious. I love the straight legs too - they don't feel sloppy at all. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that I would actually prefer they not have an elastic waist.

These are great looking pants. They drape beautifully and the legs are just the right width for drapey pants--not too big. I usually wear a 10 but, due to other reviewers comments, ordered them in an 8, and they fit just right.

These looked good from the front and horrible from the side and back. The elastic waist in the back gives them a very baggy look - "Granny Pants"

Saved these pants and thought about them several times. Finally ordered and sent back next day. They are attractive and nicely textured for errands or lounging but once again... My figure just doesn't work! Tight in the Mom butt- pockets emphasized! and the front is totally weird- the waist goes down sharply in a V which might be sexy on a 20 year old with a tanned and tight middriff . For me I would still feel silly even if covered up by a tunic in these.

I like the shape of these pants. The fabric is lightweight. My issue was that the waist was too big, despite the elasticized waistband which I'd hoped would help provide better fit. The elastic in the back is really not attractive-looking, but as long as your top is long enough that won't matter.
