The only reason I took one star off was that the fabric is VERY thin. That's fine, but it wrinkles immediately and thus looks a bit rumpled after wearing for just a short while. Usually chambray has a bit more heft than this thin cotton, so it wasn't quite what I expected. All that said, it's very pretty, and a nice length and style, with the peplum seaming.

I love peplum shirts. This one seems a bit boxy vs fitted. But I added a belt, something I seldom do, and it works. The peplum gathers just right. Just got a compliment on it so must be cute!

I love the style and fabric of this top, but like another reviewer mentioned, the flare sits too low if you are short waisted. I tried repeatedly to style it with a belt, open as a jacket, partially buttoned, etc., but ended up giving up. It sits right at the hip bone and flares out like a tent rather than a gradual flare as shown on the model.

The fact that the size xl that I received ran too small for me has no bearing on my recommendation to anyone who gets the right fit to purchase this tunic! It could have been one blouse labeled incorrectly.
The style is wonderful, the fabric light weight, is of good quality, and this tunic can be worn with anything. It will never go out of style! It's one of those pieces that you'd never tire of... so versatile.

Of all my J Jill purchases, this is one of my favorites. Does not wrinkle, fits true to size (however on my even the XSP is a bit large but I like things to fit lose) I only wish there were many more colors. Great for work or weekends.

I wish there were a way to rate an item for how I believe others may enjoy it and not just how it didn't work for me. The shirt itself was well-made and of an easy care and lightweight fabric, which makes it perfect, I think, for at least 3-season wear without layering depending on where you live. But I'm less than 5 feet tall and my back/waist length is not of average proportions, which made the waistline on the petite hit me more at my upper hips, leading to an effect of billowing out from the hips rather than gently sloping outwards as in the photo. I think this would be a wonderful shirt for others whose back/waist lengths are better suited to this style. Only wish it had worked for me. Probably one to try on before you buy unless you can conveniently return it as I unfortunately had to do.
