Rated 5 out of 5 by PERFECT TEE!! This shirt is exactly what I was looking for. The scoop is not too deep but not as high as the crew neck. Also the trim around the neckline allows it to be dressed up, which you really can't do with the typical tee shirt. The length is low hip on me - just right. I hope JJill will come out with some new "cool" colors - blues, greens, rose, plum, periwinkle, etc. The weight of the material is good for layering - it's soft and comfortable. May 2, 2013

this is a wonderul top. it has stretch to it. I am busty and usually
wear a large but in this I always order a medium. teh chat line
can tell you the exact length, but I know I wanted a certain color that
only came in the elbow sleeve, I really don't care for the elbow sleeve
as it comes down in the crook of your arm. the saleslady mentioned
to me to try ordering in a petite and go up to a large, I did and loved
it. it was perfect. the sleeve and the fit. I hope this helps some.

This shirt runs true to size and is a bit more fitted than our Pure Jill Long Sleeve Stretch Cotton Tee (AO066DP).

I don't know about the petite, but the regular size small falls to low hip length, so you could wear it out or tucked in. The shirt is fitted, but not overly so. It's not boxy or baggy, and it's not tight anywhere either. The way it fits the model in the online photo is accurate. The cotton is very soft and sllghtly stretchy.

I don't wear the petite in the pima cotton shirts, because I like them to be long. I can't answer in inches, but I'm short waisted at 5'6" and the regular shirts cover my butt, and hit my lower hips exactly like the photo.

The pima cotton shirts are not nearly as forgiving as the Pure Jill styles.
I wouldn't call them "fitted," but they are much more snug on me than the corresponding size in the Pure Jill tops. They don't look good worn over many of my jeans, because they cling to the top of the jean where the material sticks out around the button. I wear them over pants that don't have a front zipper/button. Also, I usually buy them in the size larger than I normally wear.

I don't like fitted shirts and this one isn't. I don't think it's as loose as the pure Jill line. I'm 5'2" and the shirt fits me in length as shown on the model in the photo.

The lengths on the Petites tend to be a little shorter than I like and I am just under 5'1". I would say it reaches just above the hip. They are not fitted, they're relaxed.

I've managed to shrink these shirts slightly. They don't shrink as much as other 100% cotton tops would, but if you put them in the dryer, they do shrink a little. If you want to avoid it for certain, I'd fluff it for just a few minutes in the dryer, to erase wrinkles, and then hang to finish drying.

Yes, they shrink just a tiny bit so you may consider going to the next size if you don't want it to be a little tighter and shorter after washing.

I've washed in warm, rinsed in cold and popped in dryer for 10 minutes, then hung up. The sleeves and overall length shrunk a ltittle via this method, which I appreciate because it's big on me.
