I have a small waist and found this dress to be a little sack-like. I needed to really cinch the drawstring in order to encourage the dress to drape attractively. I may try using a belt instead. Because of what I found to be an awkward fit, I will use this for casual wear only.
Claret color is lovely and fabric is attractive and has enough weight to drape nicely. I am 5" 6", 150 # and a reliable size 10. I purchased a medium. Length is perfect at mid-knee.

I loved this dress---I ordered an S size, and it fit loose, but very pretty.
However, after I wore it a few times, I washed it by hand and it shrank--it is much shorter and tighter. I can no longer use it at work. I still like it and hope to use it in more informal occasions, but now it is too tight and too short.
One piece of advice: go dry cleaning with this dress.

This dress would not have looked good on me six months ago, when I weighed 25 more pounds and had much less of a waist. I'm only 5'2", so 25 pounds made a big difference. It's a lovely, soft dress that requires a waistline to look as it does on the models. I bought a Petite Extra-small and have received many compliments and have felt comfortable and pretty.

I purchased this dress the first time in claret and liked it so well, purchased another in black. I wanted another black one but buy then all sold out. You will not be disappointed with this dress. Shipping very reasonable also.

I think the fabric is cheap looking and the fit is quite large for a size small. I was very disappointed with this dress.

I hardly buy clothes online for myself, but I liked the color and the price was great. I loved the way it fit on me and I received alot of compliments as well. I have never shopped at JJill, but I will definitely order again and visit the store in my area.

What a deal! I was so suprised at how nice this dress is. I love the boatneck styling. I like the way this dress fits... I'm an XL girl and wasn't sure if this would be a becoming style on my body type. The fabric is lightweight without being flimsy. I'm glad I got this dress.
