Rated 2 out of 5 by Cute coat, disappointing fit I have bought numerous items from J.Jill over the past few years, and a size L has always been ample. This coat, however, runs small, at least for an outer garment. I wore it for the first time today with a Wearever jacket and tank under it--nothing bulky--yet it pulls at the armholes and will just barely snap up in front. On the positive side, the fabric is nice, and the pockets are a good size. December 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by love this jacket runs small. Love this jacket, bought an xl and needed to buy a 2x. I like the weight and color. nice snaps. shorter length. December 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good quality, nice weight. This jacket is a good weight for slightly cold days. However, it doesn't allow for heavier clothes underneath. I typically wear an XL in Jjill clothes and they are large enough on me that they're very comfortable, as I like my clothes. However, this jacket doesn't seem to fit quite like a Jjill XL. It'll work when I have on a thin top, but it definitely will not work when wearing a heavy sweater. December 8, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Cute copy of a Burberry style jacket The jacket is fitted. I ordered a small I am 145lbs and 5'6" tall. It is cute, a bit stiff, but good for fall and Spring. I would not be able to wear a sweater under it. I would have had to go up a size. My sister bought it in a medium. She is 5'3" tall and 155lbs. Fit her nicely and she was happy with her purchase. I bought it on sale which was GREAT! Would not have been so happy if I paid full price as my sister did. The only con was that I bought the black and it has a black lining. It would have been cuter with another color lining, but not really important. December 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice for up and down NC weather First ordered 3x. Large in the shoulders. Sleeve length a bit long. Fit loosely around tummy. Reordered 2x. Shoulders much better. Sleeve length better. Not as loose around tummy, will snap but snug. Kept the second one. Returned the first one. Navy would a nice color choice. Or true bright red. Or deep green. Purchased on sale. Placed order the second time after calling the store to check stock. They do not carry women sizes in the store but was able to order over the phone, btw, shipping is reduced if ordered on phone from a store rather than online. Nice to know. Returns can be done at a store rather than having to ship back. December 5, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by not for me The jacket looked great online and seemed a perfect weight for our Virginia climate, but when it arrived the fit was not good. I am 5"6" 126 # and it was totally not anything I could wear---no fit at all and the shoulders were very broad. The fabric and color were great but it needs to be redesigned. I have returned it---disappointed that it did not work. I'm not sure what body type it is made to fit as I am pretty "average". December 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Well made but fits small The jacket is very well made but fits somewhat small for a J.Jill size large. There is no give in the fabric and so it feels tight. I haven't decided whether or not to keep it. December 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice. Love the fabric! It is very roomy. Ordered my regular size that I order for coats. Very nice fabric. December 5, 2014
