I was really hesitant to buy this top because I had problems with other Jill tops in this crepe material shrinking too small to wear again. It was large in my size (as shown on the model), so I thought if it shrank a bit it would still fit. I was very careful to wash in cold water on delicate & hung to dry. Before washing, I measured length & width. After washing, I measured length & width. There was no shrinkage in length; however, the width shrank by 2 inches. Previously it was voluminous on me, now it is too tight to wear at all. If you really want this shirt, order one size up even if it is large in your size. Mine is going back to the store. J Jill--this crepe material is always a problem & should be washed before you make it up into clothing!

This is such a lovely print and the style is very flattering. However, the fabric is very, very thin. (It's not see-through, it's just very lightweight). With short sleeves it would be a perfect summer top. For the fall or winter, you'd be freezing.

Looks great as a casual top with jeans and can be tucked into a pencil skirt to wear to work because the fabric is dressy enough.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anne215 Beautiful but needs tank or cami layer
Lovely print, soft fabric, and not drastically A-line or boxy like many JJ tops these days. But it does run big. I'm a size 12 in most companies' shirts but need XS in this one. (I also need XS in JJ's linen bigshirts.) Also, the neckline is very wide and deep. If you are over 50 and/or you don't want to show cleavage or bra straps, you will need a cami or tank under this. It's not sheer, though.
I have not washed it yet so can't comment on that.
