Rated 3 out of 5 by Beware of Length but a wonderful cardigan This review is for a regular medium (not a petite). This is a wonderful cardigan but it is much shorter than pictured on the model. The medium size measures 26 inches from the back neck down to the hem; this is the true length. The collar is designed to sit above the neck, so when it is measured from the top of the collar to the bottom hem, it is 27 1/2 inches; this is not the true length. It has 3 -1 inch marbled brownish-gray, buttons, and the buttonholes are well made. They should not unravel. The cardigan band is 1 1/2 inches wide. The sleeves are almost wrist length. and the ribbed cuffs are about 2 inches long and look good pushed up. The sleeves look a little short when left down, so you may need to wear a cuffed shirt. The fabric is very nice. It is a light to medium weight with a good hand and a nice drape. A tiny, firm, ribbing in the fabric gives the knit fabric enough body to keep the shaping. The princess seams are very subtle, do not stand out that much, and only give a slight shaping. It is not truly a relaxed cardigan. It is more of a fitted cardigan with ease. Many tops and cardigans are designed to be snug, this is not snug, but it is not as relaxed as other J Jill cardigans. It is a fitted armhole, not a drop shoulder or t-shape. The armhole is made in the European style, which is high, fitted, and cut in, so it does not sit that well over short or long sleeve tops unless they are also fitted and sung. Sleeveless tops are better unless you have thin arms. If you want the relaxed look, and you want to wear long sleeve shirts, you may need to go up one size. December 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfy and cute I am a cardigan-hound, and I love this one. Gives the feeling of a men's cardigan, but fits like a women's. Angled pockets are flattering. Bought the gray, think I'll get the navy also. December 17, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Sent Back Awful shade of green, not as pictued. The weave of this sweater is rough and it was not well-made. Even at the sale price, it wasn't worth keeping. December 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Basic This is a well-made, heavier-weight sweater that will be great for our South Carolina winters. The longer length accommodates today's longer tops and the pockets are a plus. This is a winner. December 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Look but Scratchy I was so glad to see this color in a cardigan I could use for casual dress or more formal. I had to order a regular small because medium petite was not available. The regular small fit fine and even the sleeves were not too long. Sadly, the collar itched really bad when I tried it on with a blouse, even though there was not that much wool in the fabric. I wanted to keep it but took it back due to the itchiness. I hope I will find the color and style again with different fabric composition. December 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Sweater This is a wonderful sweater. The fit is exactly like the photo. The sweater holds it shape and is warm without being heavy. I got the blue, which is somewhere between navy and black, not a true navy blue. It has a very slight itch on bare skin, but nothing annoying. A nice drape which flatters. December 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great sweater Run slightly big, but wears very well and so comfortable. December 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hyde Park cardigan Very comfortable and soft. I usually wear a M/P and this is too. Very casual, lounging sweater. Beautiful dark grey. December 8, 2014
