Rated 4 out of 5 by Mixed feelings The style is very nice but the fabric itchy. On the fence on this one. As it us used to Mayer it doesn't make a huge difference as I have on long sleeves and a scarf of turtleneck so no direct contact with the skin. Good for short wearings but not great for all day. I am not normally sensitive but this one does trigger the response. Wish it was softer but style and cut great. Not positive I would buy again. December 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by very warm This is a beautiful sweater which runs a little large to fit well over layers. It's quite warm, well-made and durable. It would probably work as a winter coat in warmer climates. I'm very happy with this sweater. December 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love , the sweater is really pretty and flattering style! Just received this sweater in the mail from a store in NY and I love it! Really cute on and warm too? November 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by go to sweater for years to come. This sweater is flattering and looks nice with jeans or black dress slacks. The texture on the bodice and collar and buttons adds visual interest. The cut is comfortably fitted, flares slightly at the bottom, and would look flattering on all body sizes and shapes. The weight is perfect for fall temps between 50-65F. For this reason, it can double as a light jacket outside or work inside if you like to keep your house cool. If you are on the "hot" side, the cardigan style makes it easy to take off indoors. If you tend to be cold, this would be a perfect sweater for indoors. I expect this to be my go to sweater for years. It is a shame that this sweater was available for such a short time. I know of several others who wished to purchase after trying mine on! November 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect swingy sweater This is my new favorite J.JIll sweater (of about 20). It's versatile, trendy and warm yet not hot. Had to call stores to find my size but I got one! November 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Soft and warm This sweater is very soft and warm. It is made very well and fits great. I usually wear a 2X in JJill and the XL fits me fine, probably because sweaters do stretch a bit. It is not scratchy for me. It is great to wear in the fall when you need a little something, but it's not cold enough for a jacket. I definitely recommend this sweater. October 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Brrrr...looking forward to cool weather I really liked this sweater online, but LOVED it in person. I tried it on in the store and the salesperson was so enamored that she bought one for herself! It's got a kicky, swingy look to it with the aline style, and longer, rounded back. I didn't find it fit large, but rather thought that this seemed to be the intent of the style. I bought my regular size in sweaters (M, 5.7, @135) so I could wear a heavier turtleneck or sweater underneath. As for itchy-factor, um...not to me, seemed usual; and the smell mentioned, um...again, I didn't notice anything unusual and I am sensitive to smells. I think both these issues are probably personal preference. I can't wait for cooler weather! September 30, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful design, wool too itchy/sneezy I tried this topper on at our local J. Jill. It is a beautiful sweater coat, tapering in perfectly at the waist, and looked great over leggings. But as someone who is allergic to some animal hair, I knew this was not going to work for me. It's that "itchier" wool -- not a merino, boiled or lambswool -- and it had a very noticeable "wool" smell. The fibers in the sweater are coarse and irritating to the skin. I think this one is going to be a hard sell for J. Jill given the "itch" factor. September 18, 2014
