Rated 1 out of 5 by Hudsongirl Did I get 5 inches taller after laundering this?
Washed this in cold water, gentle cycle. Hung to dry.
Tried it on and it was slightly tighter but ridiculously shorter. I'm 5'1" tall and the petite medium hemline now sits at my waist. I can't raise my arms or I'm wearing a midriff shirt.
This seems to be happening with more and more J Jill shirts. Ugh.

This is the perfect top for fall and spring. Love the boat neck. Looks cute with ankle length khakis and capris. A nice addition to my spring wardrobe.

Really cute when I first wore it. One washing per instructions, and it was easily 4-5 inches shorter. I do not put my shirts in the dryer. Very disappointing. In general, I am finding the quality of the knits to be flimsy.

This top is not only cute, but very comfortable. Looks cute with jeans, and will look great with white pants when the weather changes.

bought this top on sale/clearance. just love it. the feel and lay/hang of it are very complimentary. Went back immediately for more colors but that was it. I tend to shy away from horizontal stripes, but the length and texture make for a sharp little number - jeans or dress pants.

Two JJill shirts were ruined this weekend when I laundered them according to instructions. This one is now a belly shirt and as someone else commented, it grew wider. Too expensive to keep buying and then getting 1 or 2 wears out of garments. I followed laundry instructions to a T. Very disappointed!

I tried this shirt on in the store and really liked it, so I bought it. I washed it, according to the directions on the tag, to get the 'new smell' out. When I put the shirt on to wear it to work, it was about six inches shorter and twice as wide! Needless to say, I didn't wear it to work, and I plan to send it back.
I don't know if I bought one made with defective material or what, but J. Jill clothes are too expensive to be made with such poor quality material.
