Ran kinda small and short. Dull style. Did nothing for me. Returned!

Rated 2 out of 5 by dckproperties With work to add shape, nice dress
This dress looked like maternity wear which seems to be happening a lot lately with JJill. I know my way around a sewing machine and added 2 pleats to the front and 2 in the back. It now has shape and is soooo much cuter!

Rated 3 out of 5 by clothespony versatile; a bit less shape than the photo
This is a nice, casual jersey dress, with good quality fabric. I like it; I just don't love it--the empire waist is somewhat less emphasized in person than it is in the photo, and the neckline, at least on me, is somewhat higher; I like a lower scoop neck, so this looks a bit prim. I can take or leave the tab sleeves, but that's true of that style feature in general for me--at least these tab sleeves are executed well, hitting a comfortable spot on the arm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RoseMarie7 Ease and Professionalism...
As an Educational Consultant and a Yoga Scientist/ Sound Therapist, ease of style and professional appropriateness are indeed called upon. This well styled dress worn with crop pants make the perfect duo for presentation, working with both children and adults. It is indeed pure delight on the go!!

Another nice dress ruined because it is styled to fit someone who is either pregnant or hates their body. Back it goes!

The dress was okay but it ran very large and the dress did nothing for me and I did want to keep it because it was a good deal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jolene Good dress for daily wear and special occasions
This dress didn't thrill me when I first tried it on. I was thrown by the styling of the empire waist, somewhat reminiscent of a short maternity dress from the 1960's or 70's, and a little frumpy. Undecided as to whether to send it back, I hung the dress up and after being out of the package a couple of days it seemed to fall a little more nicely. I decided to keep it, and every time I wear it I like it more. It is very versatile: casual but can easily be dressed up. The fabric has body and drapes well. I'm so glad I decided to keep it and know I will wear it a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Veauxie Most flattering dress EVER
I am bonkers over the fit, fabric and comfort of this dress. It may be my all-time favorite. The empire waist is very flattering to my fuller stomach but the pleating at the bust takes away the emphasis on what the empire is accomplishing. Know what I mean? Well, it's hard to describe the brilliant and very simple mechanics of the dress but it just WORKS. In black it's simple and elegant for dressing up or down depending on accessories. The fabric is substantial but not heavy so it will be a good all-season garment AND the sleeves look good up (buttoned) for casual and down (unbuttoned) for a more evening touch. I'm sad I didn't move fast enough to grab it in gray too.
