It is a nice design with poor execution. Some strings have break up after one afternoon wear. It probably will last just one season due to poor quality. Also noticed the shallow design is more suitable for ladies with slender feet.

I love thee shoes! The style is perfect for many outfits, they are extremely comfortable, and the metallic color can go towards either gold or pewter. They are a versatile pair of shoes and I just ordered another pair in black.

These shoes are perfect with black pants for evening or jeans for day time events. They are dressy and not what you'd want to wear walking all day. The insole is very soft and comfortable, the cut is generous. I bought my size and am pleased, but I also expect that I may add a pad either at the heel or ball of the foot for a better fit depending on how they wear. If your foot is narrow, I would expect these may feel a half size large because the toe box is wide and the sides are cut quite low. Overall the shoe is well-made and worth the price.
NOTE TO J.JILL -- are you listening to how many of us would like to be able to try the shoes in the stores?? Shoes were originally sold in your shops - please consider trying this again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Constance54 Shoes way to large
I loved the shoes, but was disappointed when trying them on , I wear a size 8 which is the size I ordered . The shoes swollowed my feet. . They had to be a size 9 or. 9.5, I returned them to a JJills store. I wish the stores could carry shoes. I will not buy any more shoes from J Jill online again .

Great shoe, very comfortable and versatile. Love the color and style. Even good for a day on your feet. Wish you could buy the shoes in the stores.

The shoe ran a little large, may need a half size smaller.
