I purchased this sweater with the shirred-back cardi and loved them both -- until I washed them. I followed the directions carefully and treated them with delicacy. Merino is my favorite wool, and I've owned many fine merino garments that have held up to hand-washing. Not so for these two -- the shirred-back cardi developed a small hole on the sleeve after the first washing. The v-neck sweater developed two large holes on the body on the second washing. If the sweater is advertised as washable, it shouldn't turn to swiss cheese after gentle hand washing in cold water. The wool is soft and comfy, but very light weight and not durable at all. I may be able to mend the hole in the cardi and continue wearing it. I'm afraid the v-neck sweater is a lost cause. Very disappointed.

I have two of these and wished I had picked up a few more. It is a wonderful, almost weightless layer, warm, but not too warm, highly layerable, very breathable. Pants, jeans, skirts - it all works. I love this with a skirt and tights. I really love to toss a pretty scarf or necklace on and I'm ready to go. I can't usually wear anything but cashmere against my bare skin, but this merino is pure heaven. I highly recommend this one!

This sweater is great because it's light and fashionable. Back drops lower a couple of inches. This sweater looks great with black pants or jeans. The color I got was the camel.

I purchased one in the brown and loved it so much wanted to buy another. Lucky for me they went on sale, great sale by the way, and I bought one in blue, black and olive. The sweater is so soft and comfortable.

I bought one of these sweaters in the red-orangy color and I wore it so often that I decided I had to have at least one more, so I bought a blue one. The medium fits my 5'4" frame well and it washes great with your delicates. It also does well in a low temp dryer.
This a great go-to sweater for jeans and it is lightweight enough for those days when you need a little warmth, but not a bulky top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CYRY Wonderful for travel
Traveled from cold NJ to warm CA. The sweater was perfect at both ends of the thermometer. Lightweight enough for cool CA evenings, yet warm enough over a turtleneck during February in NJ. Plus, packing wrinkles 'hung out'.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CurlyLoopa no legit reason but I ADORE this sweater
I usually make myself justify purchases to myself, ie the color goes with a lot of things or I don't have anything else as warm/cool, but this sweater isn't like that. I have lots of other wool and wool blends, and I even have a sweater almost the same color. So I am keeping this sweater because it is fabulous. It hangs nicely, it makes me more comfortable and delighted when I wear it and I like the way it makes me feel (not warm or itchy but happy and beautiful). It is a lovely blue. Something about the cut is just especially flattering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ellierose This sweater will span three seasons!
I first bought this in the apple green and then bought the french blue. It can be worn alone, with a scarf, or with a turtleneck under it. So it will span fall to winter to spring. I'm glad I bought them!
