Rated 5 out of 5 by great skirt I have this skirt in black and just purchased brown..........extremely satisfied with the weight and quality of this skirt. I ordered the petite in the black and misses in brown for a change, fortunately it's straight rather than A line. Great slip-on unmatched style with only a modest kick pleat, can't go wrong!!! Previously ordered a much lighter weight jjill pencil skirt without kick pleat while it was ridiculously clearance priced and found it paired well with my black swim suit (save!!!)..........jjill ponte knit skirts, dresses, and jumpers ALWAYS a great value. Rated 5 out of 5 by The go-to skirt for everyday wear These skirts are terrific—I mean the whole JJill range of pull-on, straight, slightly stretchy, knee-length skirts. This is just one of several I've bought in different fabrics and colours. The ponte-knit fabric of this one is smooth and satisfyingly heavy. And I love the espresso colour. For my shape, these skirts are perfect. I can't wear A-line anything; skirts must be straight. All too often, though, that means I can't walk properly in them either, and when I sit down I have to hoist them up to my thighs, or watch as they make their way upwards unbidden. Not so with these babies. They stretch enough for normal walking and sitting (probably not for rock-climbing or wind-surfing) without being too clingy. And they are knee-length! Thank you, JJill! Minis are fine for the under-25s, or for just about anyone with thick black tights [British English for 'panty-hose'], but you can wear these skirts with fine stockings too, or with bare legs. (As for calf-length, I just don't get it. Calf-length skirts and dresses end just where the lower part of your legs is thickest. What is the point of that, unless you have stick-thin legs, which in my case does not apply?) July 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The all around perfect skirt. This is just the skirt I need to grab for a quick trip. Packs beautifully, goes everywhere. Really like the elegant knit, and the give in the fabric that doesn't bag, or stretch out, as so many fabrics do. Purchased a couple for my daughter, who finds them as useful as I do. Love, love!! Rated 3 out of 5 by Typical J.Jill This skirt washes well and holds its shape, but typical to J.Jill, it is way too large. I usually wear a size 0, and the XSP was gigantic and gaping. I long for the day when J.Jill designers understand the needs of smaller women, understanding that simply because we are smaller in stature does not necessarily mean we are short. I have found a much larger portion of my retail dollars going elsewhere because the J.Jill fit has been so poor. July 11, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by odd fit The waist is too high and the material is very thick so this just is an odd fit. Color is great June 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really nice I bought the Dark Olive, and really like it. The knit is nice - substantial so that it draped over my curves nicely without being too heavy. I was worried that it might be too heavy to wear during the summer but I think it will be fine. It's simple, but will become one of my staples for all but the coldest days. June 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Skirt This skirt fits well and is very comfortable and fits well. Also washes well June 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice skirt! The material isn't too heavy or too light. Nice skirt to wear almost any time of the year, especially during transitional months. Very comfortable. June 6, 2014
