Rated 5 out of 5 by Great sweater Since I can't wear wool I had my doubts about this sweater. But it is not itchy. Normally, I order petite but since my size was sold out I ordered a regular. A reviewer had mentioned that the sleeves ran short but I did not find that to be the case. The sleeves were a good 1 1/4 too long but the sweater was on sale so I will keep it. I wear it with an animal print scarf. February 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice sweater! I am very pleased with this sweater. True to size. Perfect weight. Fit is much nicer than the picture shows. January 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by A sweater with flattering fit! This merino sweater has a flattering and feminine look! Glad I bought it! Light weight but the merino wool gives it the warmth needed for our mildly cold winters and can easily be layered for colder climates when traveling. I ordered an xs ( 5'7" and 120 lbs) and it fits very nice! Can be dressed up or down. Great versatility - a classic, simply elegant sweater! January 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this sweater! Wish J Jill still had more in stock This is a lightweight, soft, fine wool sweater that is very flattering on. I took my regular size of XL because I wanted a loose fitting sweater. This one fits the bill. It is not at all snug around the hips, falls just above mid-thigh (I'm about 5'2"), fits nearly across the bust (I'm a 38DD) and the vneck, although fairly low cut, does not require a tank underneath for me. I probably could easily have taken a L but actually prefer a little more room. Looks great with heavy leggings or skinny jeans. I got it in the cayenne red color and it's beautiful. If they had more available in my size, I would buy one in every color and even 2 in black. ' Please bring this back with the same quality and sizing. December 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Soft, Comfortable, Great Sweater For anyone debating, this sweater is shaplier than it appears on the model. I'm 5'1", 100lb and xsp is perfect. SP is a bit large on me, but if you're taller and heavier it should be fine. Hope this helps. Yes it's lightweight but I love that you could wear this year 'round. I have the camel and also the green...obviously happy with it! No itch either:) December 25, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by So soft, it's hard to believe it's wool! Incredibly soft, fine and light for a wool sweater. I will wear this a ton, despite fit issues. I like that the sweater is long and loose, like a tunic. However, the sleeves run very short (and I do not have ape arms like my husband and sister) -- I will have to wear it with the sleeves pushed up. Rather than a winter sweater, it is a good and basic fall/spring transition piece. December 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great sweater! This is a lovely sweater that can be dressed up or down. It is lightweight, slimming, and looks much better on than in the catalog photo. What luck that it was also on sale at a substantial discount! December 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Flattering basic This is Black Sweater #25,000 in my closet, but in the top ten when it comes to what I reach for. It just looks good. There's a hint of fitted to the look and the V is just the right depth so I don't have to wear something underneath...but can. And I might want to: the fabric is quite light, even a little sheer. I went with the M instead of my usual L (because J Jill tops generally run big!), but wish I had stuck with the L. This seems to run true-to-size. Still looks great, though! It works well under ponchos and jackets as well. December 1, 2014
