Rated 5 out of 5 by Great summer travel skirt... I love the embroidered crinkle skirt. It's lined, lightweight and will make a great travel skirt. Look's great with black belt. It runs large so down size and enjoy. January 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Skirt The skirt fits well and will work for a variety of occasions, since it can be dressed up with a blouse or dressed down with a simple tee. I haven't washed it yet, so I am giving it a 4. Looking forward to warmer weather so I can wear it. December 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice warm weather staple After reviewing other comments I selected a size smaller than I normally take (PM instead of PL). It fit perfectly. I can see this skirt being worn in a multitude of ways in warmer weather. Glad I purchased it! November 26, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Way to big... Will have to return this one. Skirt is beautiful but ordered a large and it was way, way Too BIG. November 24, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Once I got rid of the smell . . . Although I am keeping this skirt, I confess I was disappointed when I opened the package. The fabric smelled bad, an odor from manufacturing, and the skirt was very wrinkled (aside from the "crinkles" that were meant to be there.) I really felt I had to wash it before I could wear it as the smell was so strong and the skirt was a mess--to simply try and iron it would have flattened out the crinkle texture. I was worried that the dye on this cheap black cotton might run and ruin the embroidery., so I soaked the dress in the washing machine tub using a little detergent and some white vinegar (the latter to stop dye run). I did not put through the agitation cycle, but just washed and rinsed, then soaked up moisture with bath towel, and then hung to dry. It came out quite nicely--the crinkle texture looks the way it is supposed to! I had tried the skirt on, of course, before I did all this work, and the fit is certainly very comfortable. Now that this issue of the smell and wrinkles is taken care of, I think I will enjoy it. As others have noted, there are a lot of options in creating a look: a little bit dressy or happily casual. Although the skirt itself isn't exceptional in my opinion, it does make for a really great-looking outfit with some of the things I have in my closet, like a black and white blouse with a diamond-pattern print, the diamonds being same scale as the skirt's embroidery.
