These did not stand up to J. Jill's reputation. These were cheap looking, feeling - would not have worn them they looked so bad. I sure wouldn't have paid that kind of money for them. Back they went.

Ordered shoes online, they arrived smushed in a tiny box. Very flimsy shoes, more like china flats than espadrilles. Very loose. I will be returning and not trying a smaller pair. Too bad, looked cute in catalog.

Too wide! This was not identified as a wide shoe, but it really is! Especially in the heel. So terribly disappointed! They are not wearable by my feet...I can't keep them on. Too expensive to return, for the cost of the shoe itself...so they are a throw-away for me!

These are classic espadrilles that are hard to find, so I ordered a pair immediately. But the back of the shoe doesn't stay on my foot. With a very stiff, unbending sole and no support for the canvas back of the shoe, I walked right out of the shoe. A friend also got a pair and found the same thing. Too bad because they are really cool.

These shoes are very cute, and exactly what I was looking for and expecting in terms of style, BUT - I bought the first pair in my usual size 9; they were snug enough that I didn't think they would be comfortable even after stretching out a bit, so I returned and ordered a 9-1/2. Unfortunately, this second pair appears to be defective - the footbed is a 9-1/2, but the fabric upper has to be only a 7 or 8. I can't even get them on! I am about to send back and try one more time. If pair #3 do not fit, I will give up. At least I can return to my local store and not have to pay shipping! And, in JJill's defense, the customer service has been fantastic, and I will continue to shop here.

Based on the previous reviews, I hesitated to pull the trigger, but took the chance anyway, and I am so glad I did!
I bought the linen & the blue. I know espadrilles need to be a little snug at first so I bought my regular size, 8. After a couple of hours of wear, they fit perfectly, and with warmer weather around the corner, I know my feet will expand and still be happy.
So nice that they have leather under the foot, too. A real comfort plus!
I totally recommend these classic espadrilles! Always happy with my jjill choices!
