These were a tiny bit too big, but not so that I had to send them back. I wore them the first day, and I was on my feet all day, and they were very comfortable. These are not loose on my heel and the toe comes far enough up on my foot that it is both comfortable and secure on my foot. The camel and black will complement many clothes on a year round basis. True to size

I have purchased jjill shoes before that ran 1/2 to a full size small. Can you advise if these run true to size?

This does not run true to size,,they run about a half size small. Go up a half size especially if you have a wide foot.

I buy my shoes one size larger then my running shoes - I normally wear a size 8 - shoe sizing has changes over the last 10 years

I have a wide foot and wear a size 10. I bought the 10 and they fit perfectly and comfortably. They also breathe. On heeled or wedge sandals get a half size larger. (I have lots of shoes from Jjill.)

These probably run 1/2 of a size small for many people. I wear a 10 1/2, but that size does not exist. These fit me well in an 11. Some 11's are just to big for me. Hope this helps you.
