Rated 5 out of 5 by This product has great features The sleeves can be folded and can be worn like a light jacket. The pockets are great for keys, glasses, etc. Great for early morning and early evening when you don't need to wear something heavy, great for travel as a layering item. May 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks great and fits very well.Lyn Looks great on and fits very well. Bought white and orange and will be going back for the navy. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because of the zip. It is heavy looking and does tend to be difficult to use. May 16, 2013

I thought this had a slight A-line shape. I usually wear an M in the regular Pima cotton tees, and I also have some tops in M and some French terry jackets in large. This, I bought a large. The medium would have been fine, it is a bit long and not slim fitting at the waist, but the upper arm was a pinch snug on me. I should note I do not have skinny upper arms, but they are not fat.

This is Sara from J. Jill. Thank you for your question!

We do extensive testing on our garments to ensure that we are recommending the best way for you to care for your items. We have determined that the very best way to care for our Cotton Slub Hoodie is to machine wash it in cold water with like colors. It can be tumbled dry on low.

Yes. The tag says "Machine wash cold with like colors. Gentle cycle. Only non-chlorine bleach if needed. Tumble dry low. Warm iron if needed." I haven't needed to iron it. It's 100% cotton, but comes out fine from the dryer if you hang it up right away.

Put in drier briefly, then hung up to finish drying. Smoothed it out when wet, hanging up, and it's great!

Yes, I machine dry mine on low and have had no problems with shrinkage or damage. It does need a light ironing though.

No, the marine blue is a different hue than the batik blue. You'll need to pair the hoodie with the marine blue tank, or a color other than batik.

This is Sara from J. Jill. Thank you for your question!

Our Batik Blue and Marine colors are different, and we feel that they would pair together well. The two deep blue colors are different enough to be complementary. The Marine is a darker shade of blue and layers well with the lighter Batik Blue underneath it.
