Making it a tad longer might change this, but I am planning to return it. Maybe I will try the misses. May 16, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by If you don't wash by hand and hang to dry, it will shrink! I washed cold on delicate cycle and tumble dryed on low, in spite of the tag directions to wash by hand and hang to dry. The tee shrunk in by an inch and up by more than two inches. Therefore, to keep this tee nice, you need to go to a lot of trouble, which makes it very impractical. May 15, 2013

I didn't expect these colors and style to look good on me but fell in love with the pictures in the catalogue. Went to the store right away to try on the blue and white stripe. Bought it in the medium even though I'm only 5' because the petite was too short making it look like a maternity top. Loved the striped one so much I went back the next week to buy the blue. They just skim my body. Not clingy nor baggy. I weigh 135lbs, if that helps. May 15, 2013

This will go with jeans, crops or shorts..It is roomy and has a loose fit for those of us who like to hide a few extra pounds. It is a little thin and you can see a bra color through it but not skin. I found it ran big in the body, very boxy. A size down
wasn't so big but forget the sleeves. Very soft material, a
different texture. Too bad.

I found the fit to be true to size. I usually order a size small and found this size small to be consistent with other purchases. It is not a fitted top, however, so expect some slight fullness in the bottom. Photos on line of this top seem to show different looks - the white and hot pink colors appear on line to be way more fitted than the top actually is.

I would say very slightly oversized. I usually wear either a Large Misses, or XL Petite, occassionally a Large Petite. This item fits very well in Large Petite ... I like the length which is 23" center front and 26" center back from the edge of the neckline to the bottom edge.

This shirt runs a bit large. I ordered a size smaller and it was perfect. Linen knit is fluid and feels awesome. Love the look and feel of this shirt. Fantastic with infinity scarf.

Can't speak to petite length, but the regular size small I ordered was 22 inches in front and 25 inches in back. The fabric is much softer than typical linen weaves and definitely feels like a blend; but the label says it is 100 linen. Hope this helps.

Our Summer Linen Knit Tee is made from a knit linen fabric, it is not a blend. In our Petite size Small (6p/8p) the back length is 25”. The front of this tee is approximately 1 ½” shorter than the back.

I have the LARGE Petite and the front (which is shorter) is 23 in the center, the back is 26 inches ... perhaps you can extrapolate for the SMALL ... hope this helps.

A linen blend stretch which is great if you want to dress it up. It is only slightly longer in the back compared to some other tops from J. JIll.

I found front and back of equal length. Fabric is soft but not clingy. Suggest wearing with a camie.... Fabric is 100% linen knit.

Our Summer Linen Knit Tee is meant to hit at low-hip length. This means that each individual size of this tee is a different length. It may help you to know that the Misses’ size Medium (10/12) has a back length of 27 1/8” and the Petite size Medium (10p/12p) has a back length of 25 5/8”. The front length is approximately 1 1/2" shorter than the back on each size.
