I am short, 5' and usually take a size Large in J.Jill. Not wanting it to be overly baggy, should I go down a size? Would it be possible to get the underarm measurements, seam to seam?
Thanks!

Our Pure Jill Soft & Light Kimono Sleeve Sweater is designed to be a comfortably oversized style. Since this top is designed to fall to mid-hip length, ordering a smaller size will mean that the length is decreased as well. Our Misses’ size Large (14/16) has a chest measurement of 57” and a back length of 24 ½”. Our Misses’ size Medium has a chest measurement of 54” and a back length of 23 7/8”.

This is definitely an oversized sweater. I am also 5' , on the heavy side(160lbs). I measured my size small and it's 25" underarm, seam to seam. My size x-small measures 24". These also run short, so I don't buy them in petite.

The tunic style looks sort of like the Kimono. I bought 4 of these kimono sweaters, which look GREAT on the model, but I am tall and they BARELY cover my tummy roll. So now I cannot wear them! The 3/4 sleeve round neck tunic was AWESOME, and sold out VERY quickly. I had to stalk your customer service area to find a black for a long time. That style should be offered in four colors, with more deep colors. Chocolate, graphite, eggplant, persimmon, crimson, and of course always black for fall, and lighter but NOT all pale for spring. Please remember this weight can be worn YEAR ROUND in many climates, so do not take it out except for maybe in the summer. I have people CONSTANTLY ask where I got it. Also....please make sure the darkest colors are stocked higher in the 3x and 4x. Darker colors are sliming and the sizes sold will scale up!
This tunic style could be the perfect sweater for those people that are plus size and 5'8 or taller! I have never found anything like it!
