I recently tried this sweater on and bought it in the Porcini color. The style and color are a perfect neutral for many of the J.Jill colors from this and recent seasons. I particularly wanted it for all my ivory tops that needed a soft contrasting color. I'm between a Medium and Large in J.Jill tops; the Medium was perfect. Length and thickness also perfect! Hmmm....it's a light weight sweater that feels like a t-shirt. Very soft, very drapey. Perfect for NC springs; even fine in the summer with a tank top & the sleeves rolled up. I highly recommend it.

100% cotton. The label says machine wash on gentle cycle and tumble dry low. I haven't washed mine yet to know if it really should be laid flat

This cardigan can be put into the dryer and generally would not require anything except a warm iron on the opening of the cardigan. I can get by without any ironing, but when I do, the flaps do not always hang like the photo, but nonetheless it still looks professional and not sloppy.
