Rated 5 out of 5 by These pants fit beautifully! These Wearever pants look amazingly good, feel very comfortable and fit exceedingly well. I'm a plus sized woman and long-waisted, so fuller pants usually make me look short and dumpy, even though I'm 5'6". These look so good that a friend has decided to order them too. I only have two suggestions. J. Jill, please make pants for larger women in petite sizes too - some of us have shorter legs! I did have to role the waist once on these. Also, these slacks are so great, how about offering more colors like grey or navy??? May 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by More colors please Love them. Have several pairs of slim fit wearever pants, but in size M or L they are NOT slim; THESE ARE SLIM - not legging tight - but slim fit perfect. Would love to see more colors this shape... it's a great look. May 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfort Love the fit, look & Comfort! Length is great too. Buttons are cute May 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fit! Very Stylish and Comfortable I love these pants. The button detail on the side of the ankle is very cute. They are true to size. Very comfortable. I highly recommend these pants. May 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Geat! Fabric soft. Pants up-to-date style and go with my J Jill jade shirt with buttons at shoulders and elbows. May 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cute I got these in camel. They are cute. I got the camel and black skimmer shoes to go with them. With a long, black top these look good. They are more of a legging than a pant, but that is okay with me. I will wear them with a tunic length top. It is nice to have a pair of cute leggings that are not black. May 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love them! These are a great alternative to leggings for the warmer days. Lightweight material and looser fit than leggings, but same look. I love them! May 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Relaxed pant These pants are a relaxed fit so a little large and long in the crotch. But overall comfortable. They wash well and dry fast May 12, 2013

This is Sara from J. Jill. Thank you for your question!

Based on the question you posed on our Pure Jill Slim-Leg Pants, I believe you are looking for the rise on a Misses size Small. The front rise on our Misses size Small (6/8) Wearever Button-Trim Slim Crops is also 8 7/8”. The back rise is 15”.

These are a higher rise, but it prevents pulling them up too high and showing the unfortunate tmi ’down below'. So, love the higher rise!
I prefer just below the wast in a structured button pant, but, the rise is great on these.
Super comfortable and look great with boxy, longer tops.
Run large, I wear a M or L, but am a definite S in these.

They fit like a yoga pant. They don't hang down in the crotch, but they aren't tight either.

Not entirely sure I understand the number part of this question, but I wear a woman's petite (often a 28" inseam on a women's petite slack at other stores). When wearing these I do have to roll the waist over once to have the rise be correct, but they are still comfortable and it doesn't show with long tops. Hope this helps with your question.

They are wonderful pants and you should at least try them!

I usually wear a 30" inseam and they were about four inches shorter. Just right with sandals!
