I purchased this top during the Xmas holiday season - paid full-price and do not regret my decision! I purchased a medium as the top does run large. From holiday parties, dinner engagements or just knocking around for the weekend - this top is great. Dress up - gold necklace and black and gold earrings. Dress down - jeans and a wool scarf. When this went on sale I purchased for a good friend - she looks lovely in it. Buy this top!

I was excited to get this lovely top. Boy was I bummed when it didn't fit me. It was too large, which rarely happens to me. I'm a lot chesty. I looked on line today and saw it was still available. I'm sending it back and hope I can get the smaller size. JJill is usually spot on size wise.
Runs waaay large.

I looked at this top for awhile, and just purchased it on sale. As noted elsewhere, the fit is generous. The shoulders are low, but the sleeves are a perfect length. There is no velvet on the back, as I, too, had expected. Still, this top is superb in terms of comfort and stylishness. The velvet front is the piece-de-resistance!

Overall I like the top but I wish it was velvet on the back too. Also prefer the A line tops.
