But, I'm debating about keeping this top. The only reason why I might return it is because the fabric seems heavy and too warm for South Mississippi. April 11, 2013

background color?

On my monitor both colors appear to have the same background color. Can someone tell me if it is tan, orange or reddish? Also is it actually the same background color on both shirts, or are they different? Thanks!

The Printed Slub Knit Shirt in the Clearwater Filigree color has a pretty blue background color with ivory print and bright orange accents. The Shale Filigree color has a mid-tone brown background with ivory print and peachy-pink accents.

The colors are different. One is brown and orange, darker. The blue and orange are light and have a washed out look. I am returning mine because i thought the blue and orange were more vibrant in catalog

The colors in the shale print are the shale which is taupe-y tan (greyish undertones) and the 2nd color is more of an orange with tones of pink. It goes well with a sweater I have in tangerine but also looks similar to the color in a recent JJill purchase of a crepe shirt in "salmon." There is also a white in the print - not bright white but not cream - it would work with white pants - as well as with taupe, stone or even brown pants - and, of course, denim . It is a soft, neutral print.

I got the clearwater blue and the other color is marmalade. I don't know if the shale has the same orange marmalade as background, it's possible.
