This is one of my favorite J.Jill styles EVER! I have nine and am about to order another three. They hold their shape well and can look great with everything from jeans to flowing Wearever pants to long skirts. The only downside to these sweaters it that I've had to mend five of the nine that I own. They tend to come apart at the seams - literally. I've has two in which the pocket started coming off at the bottom, one that came loose at the arm - right in the front and two in which the rolled edge came apart from the sweater at the neck. I know enough about sewing to make the needed repairs, thus I continue to order this style because I love it so much, but if anyone from J.Jill is reading, this might be an issue you want to look into.
*As a side note: I am in my forties and these sweaters get very light wear. I'm not lifting babies or wearing them to work out in.

Finally it seemed like I could get what I wanted for the past year--this baby-blue kimono top in stock and on sale. It turned out to be a disappointment and I returned it. While my same-style tops in two other fabrics/colors are comfortable and look good, this one comes off like an overpriced sweatshirt.
One tip: size down substantially. XS fits medium-sized me, with a t-neck underneath.

This is my second purchase of this style. It's great for feeling a bit more "dressed up" at home and it looks stylish when I head out to a casual location. Like a sweatshirt, but way more stylish. Love the fabric

I love this kimono! It's short waist length is just right over camis and tees. It's very soft and cozy.

The kimono sleeve is not only attractive, but also very comfortable. I wear a D cup, and I often have trouble with the chest portion of tops. A high armhole is the worst, and buttons are anathema! They always create an opening between them at bosom level, unless I buy a size too large. The kimono top is fabulous. I have about 6, including a tunic no longer made and a cardigan that I always wear buttoned up. I also have 3 of the slim cut long sleeved tee you show with the tops. Rarely, in warmer weather, I wear the top without a tee under it. I plan to buy at least one of the sheerer ones, but I don't care for the tie-dyed look because it limits what I can do with the top.

I now own seven of these in different colors and textures. Paired with long sleeve t-shirts in same or contrasting colors, the short sleeve kimono is ready for winter or spring. Once you decide which size suits you best (I'm a 1 or 2X and buy a Large) you will be so happy with these tops with jeans, slacks or leggings. This True Red is outstanding.

I can't get the slider above to work, but I am so glad I went into the store to try this on instead of buying my usual size online. I am 5'6", wear 38DD, about 165 pounds, and I normally wear Size Large in just about everything. I ended up buying Size Small, and it has plenty of room. Bought navy and light blue, and will be on the lookout for other colors, as this is one of few items that doesn't make me feel so busty.

I have this top in several colors. It's easy to dress up or to dress down. I also loved the tunic length kimono sleeve sweater they used to make...I hope it comes back soon! In short, you can't go wrong with buying this top...it ROCKS!
