Rated 5 out of 5 by Great top! Bought this in the blue and love it. Would have bought the white too but it was too sheer to wear with anything other than very light colored pants (hate it when darker pants show through on tops LOL). May 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect summer shirt Great shirt for that cooler evening as it does have long sleeves, but it is a good quality cotton and very comfortable. The sleeves were a little long for me but I am sure a wash or two will take care of that. I will avoid a hot drier though! May 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Soft! This is a super-comfortable shirt made in the softest cotton. It is a nice length and nice color. Love it! May 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Embroidered shirt The shirt is very pretty, and is light enough, I think, to wear through the summer, providing we don't have a scorcher. I would order this again in other colors if available. The fit is flattering and the quality excellent. May 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shirt fabric wonderful Soooo comfortable recieved many complements wish you had more colors April 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Loved the tangerine color Very pretty top. I bought it in the tangerine color. April 11, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by very attractive top... and comfortable fabric. I'll be wearing it with denim. April 10, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pretty design and flattering fit, but fabric too thin/clingy I ordered this shirt in the flamingo. I really liked the embroidery and the overall fit was comfortable and flattering. However, the fabric in this shirt is thinner than I anticipated. It is not sheer, but it is about half the weight or thickness of the other J.Jill tops I have and like (e.g., pima tee with ballet sleeves) and made of fabric that is "slicker" than I expected.. Because I wear a 2x, I felt like the weight of this shirt just wasn't enough -- showed some lumps and bumps that a slightly thicker fabric wouldn't. And since this is a summery shirt, so I certainly didn't want to feel like I needed to wear a cami underneath to smooth things out. After trying it on several times, ended up returning, but I'm sure it works well for others. April 10, 2013

This is Sara from J. Jill. Thank you for your question!

We do extensive testing on our garments to ensure that we are recommending the best way for you to care for your items. We have determined that the very best way to care for the Embroidered Split-Neck Top is to wash it by hand (reshape it and dry flat) or to dry clean it.

I washed my shirt in the machine on the delicate cycle with other things, then hung it to try and everything came out fine. I didn't put it in a bag. I did NOT put it in the dryer, though. Sometimes I'll put jersey in the dryer on the lightest temperature for 5 minutes just to get a few wrinkles out, but I haven't done it with this shirt yet. No shrinking, embroidery looks fine

I would hand wash and dry flat first to see how it handles before I put it through the machine.

Yes I washed the top on a delicate cycle cold water. I then put it in the dryer for a minute to get wrinkles out then hung to dry. Washed beautifully.
