Although I am usually reluctant to purchase clothing that is not made of 100% natural materials, I absolutely love these pants. The fit was perfect and the feel of the material is lovely. I hope that J.Jill continues to offer these pants in the Fall line in earth or subtle sky colors.

The fit runs large, especially for a slim fit. The smallest size, 2, fits like a 4. I don't always mind a looser fit, but I mind a baggy fit when it says slim. I recognize I am a difficult fit, so I always have to compromise. I found these in a store on sale and will try another pair since there is usually inconsistency from one to another. I wish I'd seen the khaki before they sold out in size 2.

it's more like a legging than a jean; not a bit flattering like EVERY OTHER JJILL jean I have. Nearly all slacks from jjill are wonderful as well. This jean was icky. Kept to use as legging to wear under long tops as way tight, stretchy fabric; showing every dimple, bump, crease in the leg. Nope, not a winner here.... don't know why either. I have purchased slim fit, size 6 in long for years; they are all wonderful; different fabrics, some thick like winter, some lighter weight, all with perfect flattering fit. I can see why this one was discounted :)

Most all of my jeans are J Jill Authentic Fit Slim ! I love them ...they fit great, wash great ...... lasting !!

these jeans are so soft and comfortable with a bit of stretch. The pink blush is a fresh and fun color and goes with everything. today i'm wearing it with a navy shirt. I also ordered the washed khaki and they are nice but not special like the pink. I also ordered the colored slim leg jeans in brick red and amber but they are not nearly as comfortable.

It seems most complaints about these jeans are about the fabric not being denim, but while spandex is often added to denim, modal rayon is not. That's a big clue they are not denim.
The fabric is thin (with a luxurious feel), and cool, and the colors are the colors for spring and summer.
The front pockets, as short as they are, are virtually worthless...dangerous, actually, as my house key has gone flying out while using a public restroom or sitting on public transit.
The jeans do look good, though.

I purchased these in the marmalade color. I paired them with the darker cable tunic (same color family). It made a great contrasting outfit.
