Just as I expected. I first purchased khaki boyfriend jeans and like them so much that I next bought denim. Contoured waistband so they sit comfortably below the waist without a gap. I like the plain patch pockets on the seat. Nice medium denim wash color, not overly distressed. I wear size 6 or 8 depending on the store, 5'5" 127 lbs. Style looks best with rolled leg as in photo.

These jeans are soft, yet hold their shape. Very comfy and casual with no frills. I'll probably want to wear them every day of the week.

Tried these jeans on three times in the store, and the third time I wore them around the store as I was picking out other fantastic things to try on. They fit different than any other jeans I was used to wearing and to be truthful, I wasn't sure I liked them. However, they are 100% cotton - no spandex, stretchy stuff to sag, bag, or change shapes and they were on sale, so I decided to take a chance. Finally, a chance I took that was right! It has changed the way I wear jeans! To say I LOVE these jeans is an understatement - the true test - I don't take them off the minute I come in the door! Because of my shape - apple (shapely legs, no bottom to speak of, short-waist, large breasts and stomach, rounded shoulders and thin arms) - it is hard to find jeans that fit my waist, but don't look like clown pants and that don't cause the inflated tire look around my middle. Also, I have the privilege of not being regular or petite, and these fit perfectly!! I can roll the cuff down or up as in the picture. I am 5'5", 220 lbs. and wear the 18 regular. I mention these things for plus size women who are looking for a pair of jeans that keep their shape, don't fall off your waist, don't cut into your waist, and are very wearable. I will be purchasing more in the future - and can't wait to buy the colored ones. Thank you JJill!

I tried the size 12p on in the store and they fit nice. However once I got them home and after wearing them the waist slipped below my belly and they were uncomfortable. The 10p had seemed too tight but I probably should have bought the smaller size. I wear 12p in other jjill pants so it is a little confusing. Another problem is that they sit too low on the waist even before I stretched them out. At my age that is just not comfortable. I recently went back and bought the true fit in size 10p and they are perfect.

These jeans have such a nice, easy fit! They're probably my favorite, 'go to' jeans, which is why I just bought a new pair - I'd worn the old ones so much they needed to be replaced! One thing I've noticed, however, that I wish JJill hadn't changed - the stitching detail on the back pockets has been removed. Within reason, I think a bit of back pocket detail is more slimming than plain pockets.
