I like the fabric and the length; I am 5'3" and the petite comes to just above the knee on me. The large was just large enough to make the stretch completely unnecessary. I returned for a medium, which I hope will be just right. Maybe I can update this review when I get it.

I LOVE this skirt. I bought it from the Outlet, and the only one in my size was tourmaline--a very nice dark green. I would buy one in just about any color, I love it so much. JJill, I would suggest navy and khaki in addition to black, gray, and red. The skirt is incredibly comfortable with a wide elastic waist, but it doesn't look like an elastic-waist skirt. The fabric is just the right weight--more substantial than a jersey knit, but not stiff like some of the other ponte clothing I have. I'm going to be very sad if JJill doesn't bring this skirt back for the fall season!

The skirt fit perfectly and is a nice weight. I will get a lot of use out of this. I ordered red and expected a dark red, but it is brigher than that ... a good thing as that makes it more of a summer color.

I have a 24" waist and 34" hips. This was way too big and way too curvy in a size XS.

I think this skirt may have been intended for fall/winter wear, but I plan to wear mine all summer. The fabric is heavy enough to hang nicely without being clingy. It is very comfortable for an elastic waist... and my favorite part... the waistband does not appear to be elastic ... doesn't require being covered up! I will feel comfortable wearing with a tucked in top and a jacket for a non-matching suit ensemble.

I have just bought a large number of J.Jill skirts, pants, and tops after finding that they now have styles that are more flattering to me than I've found in the past, such as the more body hugging styles of the wearever line and the side-zip pants. However, I found that this ponte knit skirt was way too big and baggy on me, even in the extra-small (5'7" 127 lbs). This skirt might work well for those who like a looser fit.

A Great Skirt ...Very feminine. love the ease of stretch waist band and easy care, high quality fabric. I ordered small since my hips are straight but can easily wear the medium as well. Easy Care... I machine wash and hang to dry ... no wrinkles !!!

I really love these skirts -- super comfortable, multi-seasonal, and great for packing. They run large, so you may want to consider sizing down one. They do stretch out so if it's a perfect fit with the first wearing, be aware it will be a little baggy in time. I recommend dry cleaning instead of washing. I laundered three of them together in cold water, and then damp dried on the lowest setting. They shrank about 2 inches in length, and the texture was altered so that they tended to be more clingy. I was heartbroken, but fortunately I've been able to replace them at the sale price. I hope more colors will be available in the future.
