This is the 3rd striped jersey turtleneck that I've purchased from JJill, all in reds or purples so far.They look very nice under vests, sweaters,or just on their own. I hand-wash them in cool water and hang to dry using padded hangers. I loop the sleeves up over the shoulders to prevent the weight of the wet material from stretching the sleeves. When dry, no, or very little ironing is necessary. I've seen no pilling so far, but have only had them a short time. JJill seems to have unusual subtle colors, and good combinations of colors. These, and a bunch of JJill's solid
jersey turtles will be three- season mainstays in my wardrobe.

I own this excellent piece in navy stripe and now red stripe. The fabric is wonderful and washes well. It is lightweight and looks good on its' own or layered. Perfect for the unpredictable New England Spring!

Bought this to go under the cotton cable pullover but don't like the fit. It runs very small. I might donate it or give it away. Color was good but the cut was just too slim.

This is a lightweight (thin) turtleneck. Although it is not warm enough for me on it's own, it's a nice layer to wear under a sweater or jacket. It washes and dries well (doesn't shrink). It runs narrow in the stomach/hip area (my problem area), but since I wear it under things, that's not a problem.

Excellent weight. Not too heavy that you suffocate. Not too light that you wonder why you bothered to wear it to keep you warm. Nice and soft, good cotton.
The shape was a little much for me since I don't have much in the way of hips, so while shoulders and waist fit great, the flare at the bottom was designed for a hippier woman than me. Since the turtle neck is long enough to tuck, this did not strike me as too problematic.
