Rated 4 out of 5 by Problems with elastic waist I have several pair of both boot cut, straight leg, and Capri styles. All have a problem with elastic twisting after first washing. I have even tried machine stitching to re-enforce but still twists. Only complaint is wish JJill would correct problem. Maybe buy a better quality of elastic that will tolerate machine washing and drying. November 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice style--hard to get the length right The regular length Small absolutely puddled on the floor in these, though in other J Jill pants, including pure Jill straight legs, the length is perfect or even slightly short on me. So I tried the Petites and they seem OK, though if they shrink I will be disappointed. I do like the style and hope they will work after multiple wearings and washings. November 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the style but ....... Wish the fabric had been heavier. Had some with similar style (different brand) several years ago that were made with heavier fabric. I almost cried when they wore out! November 13, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Twisted elastic I just threw my Pure Jill boot-cut pants into the trash. I have owned them for 10 months and after 6 months the elastic encased in the waistband began to twist. It is sewn in the back but it is loose in the waistband in the front and sides. The wide elastic began to curl after it was washed. I would spend the morning straightening it out before wearing the pants. With each wash, it got worse to the point that I tried to use safety pins to hold it in place. Tonight, after I pulled it out of the washer and saw how twisted it was, I threw the $69 pants in the trash. One positive is that I liked the fabric. It was smooth and didn't fade. I hope J.Jill can fix this problem. November 10, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Material very thin Bought the grey and black After wearing the black on a road trip, when I got out of the car(3hrs) the material stretched at knees and butt. The boot cut look was great but disappointed in material. Unless you wear tights under, you wuold be cold in our Buffalo, NY winters. Not a fan. November 8, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pants are short Have purchased these pants before and live them. Purchased identical pair for trip and they were three inches too short. Returned to store and had another pair shipped to me they are still a good inch shorter than previous pair November 8, 2014
