This is a very nice basic garment, and I considered exchanging rather than returning it. However, it is almost summer -- and I chose to keep a long black cardi of lighter fabric. I did not keep this item for two reasons: (1) the "sea" color is much more of a real tourquoise than the peacock blue I'd imagined, and I don't wear tourquoise, ever. (2)I am tall, and it was shorter in my size than I'd hoped. I hope you offer a longer version in more subtle colors next fall!

I looked for a dark brown sweater all winter. By the time I looked at J.Jill the XL was sold out. When they went on sale I decided to try the L since the sweater is full. The L works for me in this case. It is so soft, doesn't wrinkle when stuffed in a tote. It will be great to wear inside in Texas this summer where air conditioning often makes a sweater necessary. I don't know yet if it pills since I haven't washed it. I would buy it again or buy it in other colors. I'd try for the XL, but if not available could go with the L.

I really love the cardigan, it's exactly what I was looking for except that I have only worn it twice and the material is starting to ball up. I haven't washed it yet so I don't know how it will fair in the machine.

I purchased the bright yellow/green. I appreciate all these bright pops of color for Spring, JJill! It's a very fine merino wool, which is soft and warm without being too warm. The cardigan can be dressed up or down, but I always feel put together in it. Also, it's nice to know that I don't need to get it dry cleaned. Get it while they're still here!
