Rated 1 out of 5 Waist too large and fabric cheap The waist was as wide as the hips and the waist sat about 4 inches above where it should have. The "elastic" if there was any was all stretched out. Even with the pants pulled up above my waist the pants were too long and covered my shoes. The fabric felt very cheap also. Very disappointing May 15, 2013

But the casual or dressy self draping and light weight linen just goes anyplace. Add a denim shirt and go shopping or add a sparkled top, your favorite heels and go to dinner. I especially love the cropped pants because you can wear them with flats or heels. May 15, 2013

Sizing

From the comments made on this product, it seems like the sizing is all over the board, ranging from 'true to fit' to 'runs large' and 'runs small.' I am a size 12. Should I purchase a L or a M?

Our Easy Linen Flat-Front Pants have a relaxed fit. Our Misses size Large is designed to fit sizes 14 to 16. If you wear a 12, you should feel most comfortable in our Misses size Medium, which is designed to fit sizes 10 to 12.

I wear size 10-12 and a medium fit great for me out of the box. If you can you could always buy both and return one. The pants have an elastic waist and wide legs

I would think a large- however linen does give a lot- also remember the length- I ordered a petite because they do not give a "short" as a option. My height is about 5'4" and I wear a 12-14 and these fit great.

If by large you are a 12 then the medium should be just fine. If you are a 14 or more, then you need the large or extra large.

The same size, Medium Petite, should work for you in both styles.

Our Wearever Slim-Leg Pants in the Medium Petite (10p/12p) have an elastic waist that stretches from 30” to 40” and a low hip measurement of 41 ½”.

Our Easy Linen Flat-Front Pants in Medium Petite have an elastic waist that stretches from 34” to
39” and has a low hip measurement of 43 1/2”. The hip is cut a bit more generously in these pants due to the fact that the woven linen does not stretch in the same way our Wearever material does.

They are linen. The weight is great. I wash in cold, shake out, match seams, put them on a hanger and let dry at room temperature. Fluff in dryer when ready to wear. They look wonderful.

waist size problems

I have bought these previously and have found that the waist was huge?
otherwise the fit was great. I use to buy the all elastic waist and they fit great. I just wondered if the waist has been a problem for others. I wear a med. petite and have always been very happy with sizing.? thank you

The waist is snug on me but the fit and look is better than the full elastic waist one. The leg opening isn't as large as in the past.

The old style with elastic waist were more loose fitting in the butt and thighs didn't flatter.
