Don't waste your money on these shoes - even if they are on sale. Cheap fabric, badly made, very uncomfortable.

... unfortunately, these shoes look as if they have been spray painted silver. Furthermore, they have no support at all. To deemphasize the spray paint aesthetic, I used a light sandpaper to remove most of the silver, so the shoes are now a slightly sparkly, distressed tan, perfect for camouflage at the beach. (If that is what you are after!) After the addition of orthotic inserts, they are very comfortable. Certainly, the shoes are worth the $22 I paid for them, but no more! Looking back, I have generally been disappointed by the J. Jill shoes I have purchased, but, I love the clothes!

Wonderfully soft shoe for casual wear, light weight, soft supple leather and overall worth getting. Finish on leather makes it easier to maintain a new look if you'd want to polish. The only negatives are: It runs 1/2 size too small in length and if needing strong arch support this isn't a shoe for you. For those with high arches the higher top makes this slipper shoe nice in that you don't walk out of it and the shoe doesn't flip flop as you walk. If you have a narrow heel, which I do, the softness of the leather won't cause any blisters from rubbing. So if any 7 1/2's become available in black or shale, I will be be placing an order!!

Goes great with slacks or long dresses. Please don't discontinue this style.

I had thought I found the perfect shoe. The leather is soft and supple and the style is versatile. Alas, the fit is terrible. I ordered a half size larger and my toe still hit the top. In addition, the shoe is so wide that it does not stay on. Adjust these factors and J Jill will have created the perfect shoe!

They are very comfortable. Very soft. I did have to order a half size up from my regular size. I would order more in different colors, but it appears that they are discontinuing this style. PLEASE DON'T!

I read the posted reviews and couldn't quite make up my mind. But they are so cute I couldn't resist. I was disappointed and seriously thought about sending them back. I consider my foot to be a normal width and they are very floppy. The length is right, but because they don't fit width wise they flop off my heels. I almost sent them back...but again they are so cute and exactly what I was looking for so I decided to try insoles. I bought a $5 pair of support insoles and the insoles create almost enough space to get rid of the flopping around. I would recommend for someone with a wider foot or who is not looking for any kind of support at all as there is absolutely no arch support. I don't think i'll be doing much walking in them but they are perfect for work.
