The I wear an 8 to a 9, and was glad I ordered the size 9 in these. They are cute and casual. Perfect for wearing over jeans or leggings. Comfy too!!

I really wanted to like these boots....but, they were way toooo wide in the calf. I wanted something with a low heel and good treads, yes and yes, but the fit on the calf is very wide. Bummer! Sent them back-

Even better than expected! Awesome Frye quality; excellent fit at my normal size (9 medium). The leather is delicious and the look is understated but classy. As a person who doesn't like heels I was excited to find an excellent Frye boot that is flat and easy to wear. Not for formal wear but goes everywhere else. The subtle olive color is one of of my favorite things about this boot although I liked it so much I tracked down a black pair elsewhere and ordered those as well. Hey J. Jill--consider carrying black ones!

But not what I was looking for. The boots made my ankle undefined and my legs appear larger then what they are. Also, the pull on tabs emphasized the large shaft circumference. I also did not like how flat the boot was, again not very feminine. The quality of the leather and the workmanship were impeccable. It is a 'Frye' boot of course, and I would expect no less.

I loved loved these boots and so wanted to be a ble to keep them but they rubbed my ankle pretty badly. They are the perfect color and hieght!
